only God has the real answers.. but to me, probably not.. just remember that we look at these things as essentials because our knowledge is based on basic scientific rules / logic which accepts things backed up by apparently sound reasons. You need car because you believe it will carry you to your target destination. If I can get there in no time without a car, why would I still need a slow moving car.. ??

its a very good and valid question. Even i used to think over it quite often. But the thing is that our mental state doesnt remain the same, even in the course of our lifetime, let alone after death. You might have experienced that ones priorities change quite often. For instance when I was a kid, I used to love Ninja turtles so much so that I could even kill for them ( well I'm exaggerating a bit but still).. Every month or second I would force my parents to buy me a new ninja turtle character toy. It was such a craze. Now that I look into the past and recall those days, it makes me laugh at myself, but it wasnt my fault, i was only a kid back then. Now i wouldn’t fight for my favourite ninja turtle character (btw it was Donatello). So the thing is, priorities change, you wouldn't want a car as such or a high end PC for that matter in that life. This is my own philosophy though, people might not agree on that.

@Zia I Don't know about the answer to your question but I personally think that we will not remember these things in Jannah (inshaALLAH). its just like that if you are wishing for a mehran and suddenly you get a camry, then will you be thinking about mehran anymore?

the things in Jannah would be so much better and beautiful that the things of this world will not even come in the mind.

The ashaba (companians) of Our bloved prophet Muhammad stood away from the luxuries of this world. They used to look at the luxury of this world (wealth, houses. women etc.) and then used to turn away form them saying the luxuries of Jannah would be much better and greater than this world and we prefer the luxuries of Jannah over the luxuries of this "fani" world. This how we should try to be. I know its difficult but not impossible. atleast we can do "neeat" and ALLAH (SWT) will give has "barakah" inshaALLAH.

It a great fact which nobody can deny that we all living creatures have to die.This wordly life just like temporary sleep. All the things we see here are subject to decay and all are temporary. Death will wake us up and that will the end of our sleep when every thing will be actual success or failure.

That is why we shuold behave as is ordered by our CREATOR.
This not only make us a success in hereafter but also in this worldly life.

i saw few threads and felt like replying.. I got very little knowledge about it but will like to explain it and i am sorry if i guna point it out wrongly but will try my best to be accurate.

i read a thread abt cars , phones..... in fact they will not be in there... if u r dreaming to have bugatti then this is not what jannat means.

those things which r haram here will not be haram in janat. For man gold, silk, wine r haram ... but in janat we will find wine which wont be hard on mind and wont knock down instead it will give pleasure. Will be young forever, will have perfect woman, will have hoors as our helpers....

and the most important thing which will be there and which is not here is DIL KA SAKOON this will b on top which cant be get in this world.But the MOST MOST MOST important and happy movement will be seeing HAZUR PAK (s.a.w) subhanAllah and his companions InshaAllah. And ofcorz seeing Allah in JANNAT will end every best moment of anything or any imagination which we could imagine. Just imagine this and u will feel total different. Allah hum saab ko JANAT hasil karnay k kabil banahay AMEEn .
