Yeah, it is strange. I just removed stock bulbs and inserted Narva. Mine is about 3 months old ride, never touched anything except bugs while driving on motorway at night!
These are 9005 H4 bulbs, installed in High Beam sockets. Right one is throwing light straight forward, no patterns etc. Left one also shines bright, but throws light a bit downwards, hardly at a distance of 4 meters I think. And there, on the road it makes an angular pattern that is really irritating to watch!
I replaced my stock bulbs again just to check if the headlamps had got misalligned or not. But they were perfect as new. Don't know what to do!

Usually with high performance bulbs, manufacturers alter the design in order to comply with federal (whatever country) regulations. The problem you're facing must be something of that sort. But then again, it should happen in both reflectors if this were the case.

Google it to see who, if anyone, is facing the same issue in any car. It seems to be an intriguing issue...

Yup! Rightly said!
Here are two comparative images. First one is low beam on with stock bulbs. Second one is high beam on with Narva bulbs.

Hope this makes things easier to understand! I am going to search on net for similar issues in Civic 2010 and prestock lamps. In the mean time, if there's any suggestion to correct the problem, please do let me know.

The first picture is of an ECE cutoff and it is perfect.

Looking at the second picture, you need to aim your left highbeam(or is it the low beam?) a little high

well bro u mentioned that u got 9005 h4 bulbs in the high beam of ur civic, how come is that possible? h4 is a diff bulb and 9005 is altogether diff. thing. and check out my cars pics both 04 civic and 07 civic the same as ur car. u can see clearly that both the high beams are perfectly fine i mean the pattern is same as it used to be with stock bulbs.

Rightly pointed out! My bad. What I wanted to write was 'HB3' as it is printed at the back of the box. It states:
"RANGE POWER WHITE HB3 12V 60W" at the back of the box.
and
"9005 4100k more White" on top.
With stock high beam, I used to get left beam light hitting the ground at about 15 feet away, without any vivid angular pattern, mixing into the light form right beam. But in this one, it is hardly hitting the ground at around 8 feet, with that 'Lexus' mark shape of pattern!
As suggested by Momin, I am going to get this left beam raised a little to see if it is ok. But at the end of the day, I feel satisfied with the increase in brightness and range of high beam on the right!

What i recommend to you is that while visiting my Islamabad Outlet this Saturday get that bulb changed and then see the results. If there is a problem in that specific bulb it would be solved and if not then probably they are like that.

no problem sir it's just a typing error :D. well i think that particular bulb that u got is faulty or may be the left hand side headlight needs some fixing up or 1 more thing is possible and that is that u may have installed the bulb in a wrong position and thats why the pattern is so not right. atleast i can say that on my cars these are working absolutely fine no problem at all.
