yaar traffic nowadays is so messed up & there are so many jams that i just got tired of manual......to be honest, left leg gets tired..!! prosmatec is a blessing if u ask me.....but if ur more towards the racing side, just go for the manual

Bro we have both the cars 2005 1.5 Premio and 2008 Civic Vti manual..
There is no doubt that premio has got better safety features and a few toys as well..
But when one drives a manual 1.8 ivtec trust me it consolidates for all the toys tht premio has to offer!
The driving pleasure that the 8g Civic provides !! ITs just nt there in the Premio !
Conclusion is Premio is for an old guy who wants comfort, bit of luxury and has a driver !
Whereas The Civic is fer the young blood who requires decent power which the sporty compact sedan delivers!
If u hav any other queries abt the car u can ask Bro !

Civic gives the driving pleasure formerly found in Accords; the car is a class above past Civics. Premio feels like a boring Corolla, no drive comfort (not to be confused with seat comfort). As far as manual vs auto goes, this car is meant to be driven in an auto. Very comfortable and responsive.

Well I would say, Go for Premio, atleast it is a class better than corolla/civic compact category. Secondly Premio's interior is far better, the built quality is no doubt better and it’s something which is not as common that you go anywhere and pick one. Rest it’s your choice. Civic is a wanabee sports car and to be honest it fails as its not as sporty and comfortable and at the same time low with stiff suspension and a very hard steering as compared to other cars. Also there are too many blind spots which make this spaceship difficult to drive but offcourse you can get used to it. The plus side on civic is that it has cheap spare parts which I think is extremely important and the looks of it makes it look no less expensive car. Anyway best of luck!

Are u sure Civics drive isnt comfortable? ure probably the first person claiming it. ive had both (civic nd rolla) nd wat i feel is that Toyotas, have there own driving kind, but Civics a nasha.

secondly drving a 1.5 and a 1.8, some how the 1.8L gives more heart beats per second

Civic spare parts are cheap, one side mirror costing 16000 seems cheap to you? premios not more then 6 to 8k. dunoe about quality.

what i have concluded is this that

cvic is a locally manufactured legend so there wont be any problem about spare parts.

secondly its market value after two years would be reasonably decent as compared to a 03 model premio.

thirdly, i have got a very strong feeling that i cant find a premio above 03-04 model in this bugdet, which means that the car would be 6-7 years old. though its a JDM, but still it has got a life.

fourthly, premio 1.5 is not as powerful as a 1.5 should be, i mean lyk my 06 exi is. it seemed to me lyk if the engine is pulling the car.

in the end i want to know to make my self clear in my options, that WHICH CAR OF THESE 3

premio 1.5, premio 1.8, civic 1.8

GIVES BEST CONSUMPTION IN INNER CITY travelling, the daily travelling is about 40 km in islamabad.
