Around 1999 or 2000, this car was used to be parked at a showroom at Tariq Rd. This showroom was right besides McDonalds, i think it was called Cars or something to that extent and had that beetle hanging from the roof of the building. I used to go for tuition very near to the place. Some young fellow, probably the son of the showroom owner used to take it out occasionally and speed up and down the Rahmania masjid wali road. It sounded so badass. We were young kids and seeing and hearing it run was the best part of our lives.
The car was never seen on the road after that. Fast forward to 2 or so years, the showroom closed down or changed hands and the car was moved to a showroom called Driving Ambitions on main Korangi rd. It sat there for another 4-5 years before being moved to Park Towers.
