Price Check: Toyota Tundra 5.7l V8

In all honesty , my knowledge of engines is limited....As for finding a Tundra for you ...my friend if I find a good clean car for 2.4 or 2.6 mill , I wont be telling you , I would buy one for myself
How about going for a Toyota Vigo ? you could get it for around 2.5 mill !! a 2005-06 , AT , 4X4 , 3.0 d4d , will fall within your price range...or you could import one from Thailad...duty and other exp for a 2007 model would be around 850-950k ! Thanks again for the honest opinion. I am not so much into pickups. I only like the tundra for its features like an electronic automatic limited slip differential (Auto LSD), Vehicle Stability Control, traction control, electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist, anti-lock brakes and tailgate assist. If its possible to get these in another vehicle then I would go for that SUV, if in my range.

I am not at all into pimping the ride. Only features of driving and safety. Tundra seems to have a lot of them.

The technical stuff went way over my head..I merely belive in using my ride like a machine and disposing it to get another one , once I have enjoyed it !!

Its not so much important to understand these technicalities but theses are the features due to which you will enjoy the Tundra even more.

Tundra's posted in "For sale adds" on pakwheels have not been sold as they are still there, some for more than months now. Doesn't this mean that the market for them has dropped down. I think the asking prices should be brought down. Then I can also buy one

I was just looking at Tundra Adds and they seem to be there for months. I have been looking at these adds for quite sometime now. People just refresh them just to show that they are new. Nothing changes in the add. I was just wishing if the prices will also come down so that they will be sold. For example
3.5 Mil for 5.7 V8

and this guy almost bought a crew max for 2.6 mil but it was just repainted on right side.

Good Luck in finding one for 2.5 million my friend !! A few months ago I was also on a Tundra high and was looking around for one....the best deal I got was a crew max for Rs2.6million. I almost made a deal for that car , but later found out it was re-painted from the right side.

The drive is amazing , one could feel the muscle when accelatoring. However, the problem with Tundra is , being left hand and a fuel guzzler, it has "0" Resale value. hence keep looking I am sure you will find a distressed sale in a month or two !!

One thing its very fuel thirsty.doesnt give more than 4km/l

I drive one every day and i have never gotten less than 6km/liter
