we need Pakistanis' to make policies
not khan, malik, chauhdary, mian, chopra, watoo, tatoo, arain, with blindness for the WORLD, and tunnel vision not beyond clanship, bardri and constituency.

People like Ahad Cheema, Fawad Hassan Fawad, Hussain Lawai, Tariq Khosa, Salim Vahidy etc etc has to cut lose their Tails from their political masters,

It is the bureaucracy which design the policy & law, for approval by Elected Representatives, only for once if this Babu become 30% honest to country the progress will be 70 times high compared to past 71 years,

the recent events of masters & their dogs getting trapped seems to be a way forward for next lot of babu & elected people to learn lesson from, cheers !

Regarding your 'fanatic/extremist indian comment' you cannot paint all indians in one basket. pakistani artists perform in bollywood only because of the language but there's more to india than bollywood. There's kollywood, tollywood and mollywood and they make more movies and have as far an outreach worldwide as bollywood. India is as large as the european union and each state is like a separate country with it's own economy , culture , language music and expression. Each state in india compete with one another for investment and importance within the union.

Part of the problem is also because you guys also don't see beyond the hindi/urdu areas of india so the rest of india also don't bother to see you.expand your horizons to reach out to all indians and you will see that most of the problems will go away. The rest of india doesn't really care about indo-pak and kashmir as intensely as north indians and kashmiri pundits do because of all the years of turmoil and distrust between you guys and it doesn't impact the rest of indians directly.

Most of the indian media you guys see both hindi and english are north india based media houses. Tune into a east indian english news channel for example and you'll get a different perspective altogether. An indo-pak skirmish along the border will not be headline news and sensationalized, just another news item.It's sad when soldiers die on both sides.

The only Oscar award winners for music and editing from asia up to now are from the tamil film industry.

Did you know that one of india's prime minister was a southerner who didn't speak hindi as his mother tongue at one point in india's history?.

problem is that people in Pakistan are more tuned to tabloids and some have started to consider it gospel. All news channels in Pk are sensationalist mud churners, all newspapers have become an advertisers paradise and education standard is down the drain.

OTOH - some people are such idiots that they praise maryam nawaz on the sole basis that she looks good in makeup and a nice outfit - and thats enough for vote.

Else based on sitting Govt(s) of India and the policies during past 71 years adopted and implemented AGAINST Pakistan, i consider India as enemy at gates, and remain firm over my belief.

Beside that I refer to State (provincial Govt) policies for economic educational & industrial development implemented by the ruling govt to attract investments from within India & Direct Foreign Investment.

Since past 20 years am carefully monitoring the growth process of IT & Telecom.

NOT TO MY Surprise, India has taken baby steps before opening the whole spectrum & IT Industry to the world. Still the Control of Central Govt for Monitoring, Interception, Suspension and Spoofing is very much like Iron Grip. , which again India has learned from 'bull in china shop' approach of Pakistan for exploiting the whole scenario.

Pakistan launched expanded ran like rabbit suffered & then gathered the safety & security protocols for comms & IT, while India won the race n way ahead despite being a turtle starter to adopt technology.

And to add drivng down Chennai's IT expressway where i'm at is a treat for sore eyes, Maybachs and Rolls/Bentleys, Porshes and Maseratis , BMW 7 GTs not to mention Mustang GTs et alia that prowl those roads at any given time. to attract foreign investment & lure expats back home.

honestly touch wood how many educated people (as in people with simple bachelors degree in science or arts) have enough resources to access and enjoy fine dinning food which you enjoy,.

I recently watched an Indian movie RAID which is based on true story from Mrs. Gandhi Era - a babu - an Income tax commissioner, acted based on his position & state at his support, demolished a whole empire of a regional politician, while the same babu class when corrupt to core TRAIN the elected people how to make money.

the 85% babu class ( ICS / CSS / Defence Services class ) in former British colonies as well as in India & Pakistan suffer from 'crisp collar syndrome', they are MAD DOG class who bark and bite the hand which feed them ( tax payers' money ). To them every other civilian is low life

i never get charmed of India's social drum, but yes am truly impressed with the system of railways, industrial development & the Iron Grip Control of Govt Security agencies over Communication service providers.

all else is more or less just like my country,
if you have resources and established source to keep you afloat, you can enjoy & live better then a US Senator

Totally agree with your post. But, i'm in india and i see how things are going. And, Things are heading in the right direction. The fact that india is the world's fourth largest car producer dethroning Germany last year is an indication. Cars are not everything, people are. I can tell with all sincerity that everyone is moving on up in their way over here just some regions faster than others.

The common man has a goodlife in india, lots of movies and entertainment, cheap booze, brothels, dance clubs as good as anywhere, car and bike races and shows, auto expos, subsidized rations and cooking gas, reasonably cheap grocery prices( onions at 20 rupees a kilo at my grocery store in chennai today), low air , rail and bus fares crisscrossing the subcontinent and overseas too(14,000 rupees chennai to singapore round trip for example), subsidized housing in many states, not all states are governed well or are prosperous enough to afford social services like others, civil rights yet things do go horribly wrong. Ever walked the south side of Chicago in broad daylight?. You know what i'm saying. Things are not bad at all over here, that;s why i extended my stay over here too. Large expat coommunity from all over the world working in IT, manufacturing, arts and sciences living in india. for eg., samsung just opened largest cell phone factory in the world in Uttar Pradesh last week. I could go on and on .And, the cars you see in the video clip is not all the Lamborghinis in Bangalore.

I don't know the indian emergency but whatever happened thirty years ago. That cannot happen today. The IT powerhouses in india are locxated in southern india and not one southern indian state is ruled by the party that governs at the center.

Also, though i respect you a lot i'm surprised at the statement on fine dining. I didn't expext this from you. My fav food is biriyani and a plate of the finest chicken biriyani at Aasife, my favorite biriyani chain in Chennai is 190 rupees. you can look it up on net. Find dining to me is beefsteak with carmelized onions, two veg and french fries with kingfisher beer at my country club on sunday night. Next time i dine there i will take pics and post for you.

The US has iron grip over service providers infact they're trying to do way with net neutrality in the land of the free but in India the govt. has officially stated net neutrality as policy. I still love the USA above all else. No place is perfect . But let's stop comparing india and pak and instead let's get to know more of one another through media as we cannot do in person. it is about quality food not many have access in India or in Pakistan, please do not misinterpret my acknowledgement of your wide exposure.

BTW there is place called Bombay Choopati ( yes it still spells the same version Bombay ) in Karama Dubai. It is my favorite stop for Pani Poori ( GOL GAPA ) any given time i consume 18 - 24 at ease, The Owner Old person Karam Chand is Sindhi from Sukkar who migrated to Bombay at partition when he was in class 7th then moved to UAE Dubai in 1977 since then he is into conventional snack business of India in UAE, his 3rd generation is running some known Indian food frenchise in UAE.

South is still run under RED Flag and they are very well strong despite collapse of Soviet union

When governments are selected based on caste (baradari system) and people praise high cost projects (motorways) after taking huge dollar loans, when your exports keep on declining as the business activity is unfavorable and dependence on imports increases, rupee can only weaken as long as this goes on.

Don't know when our public will understand all this simple equation. You select thieves as your gatekeepers, they can't do anything else but to rob you on a daily basis. But who cares, we like it this way. Stockholm syndrome!
