i got a battery delivered by scrapy - swapped plug & play.
i cross checked the date & tags over battery bank has date of March 2017

jump started the vehicle , scanned and cleared the codes took out for 3 kms it was sluggish showing 9 km/ltr topped up tank and gave a rough B -run stop & go battery was charged in 9 km distance to 80% switching ICE & BATTERY , the fuel avg appeard 11 km /ltr am sure it will be better. atlease it is out of coma. - vehicle will be disposed within next 4 weeks.

paid 50,000 remaining 25000 will be paid on 20th. dropped the scrapy guy & battery at his point. delivered the JUNK SCRAP HYBRID.

my KE 30 will come home Tuesday morning.

forgot to charge my phone over weekend and it died at 11 am this morning, i will see if scrappy or vehicle owner can share the pics.

zero complaints car is in Rahim Yar Khan for 5 days now have fuel avg of 11-14 km/l payment is 100% clear with scrap guy.

I bought a Prius last year, 2009 UK specs. After 3 days got battery error, and i got the with the slogan “new hybrid battery”, khair. I sold it then in same condition with 1.5 lacs nuksan.

Now my cousin bought one 2011, he bought it from a showroom , the ex owner sold the prius to showroom guy and then my cousin bought it (all 4 days process) means the car was with the 1st owner before 4 days then we bought it. Both the showroom guy and car owner was cousins and my cousins best friends. They claimed each and everything 100% ok.

Long story short, after 5 days battery error.
My cousin now have changed some cells, because his battery cells got more voltage then the one availabke in market. So ended up changing some cells.
Now its been 1200+kms ALHAMDULILLAH no error at all. The avg was 12kms now gone upto 20kms +,-

Now he is confused to sell the car or to keep it.

2009 model with a battery repaired .. sell the car at lowest of loss.

Automotive market is in coma.

Specially the HYBRID vehicles for which source of parts is scrapyards opportunist are looking for stealer's price & owners' in desperation sell the hybrid to get rid before huge loss.

Well said, when there is error in car, owners are in hurry to sell due to dill tootna.

But there is difference.
The owners who faced this problems will never go for hybrid again.
But the owners who didnt face any problems are happy amd satisfied.

So bought a battery of 2017 model prius from shoba peshawar. With 6 months warranty.
Battery costed more then 2 lacs. ( given my battery and 165k cash).

Hope for the best.

200k for a scrape battery? robbed without gun I wonder if first owner (or who ever juiced this car most) was able to recover this much from fuel savings of "Hybird"

I faced the same issue, but whole having this issue displayed my car is working fine on EV and hybrid battery is it used to do before. My car has a defective abs which needs to be replaced but the car is running perfectly fine on battery. Do i need to worry about the battery because i reset the computer and the hybrid check error is gone.
