Now was Looking for Genuine Used Rear Lights

searched for many weeks cudnt find a single Light

eventually started looking for After-Market New Ones to add some individuality & finally bought a pair.

Waiting for Shipment of parts

the wait seemed very long

since they were coming inside one of my cars it was going to take around 2 Months till Lahore.

there was some problem in my account & then this new user interface came, which was a bit confusing at the beginning & was a bit caught up.

iA going to travel will complete as soon as i come back

The parts got cleared from port inside a customers car & now i was calculating the extra duty that was paid which I had to reimburse to the client. Wasnt as simple as it sounds, since there were some performance parts inside for another client, so we had to make precise calculations.

Finally the parts had arrived and there was a twist in the tale.

The bumper wasnt fitting since the styrofoam behind the front bumper was too thick and the new bumper just wudnt fit on it & nor did the tyre shields fit now.

The denter leading the project simply just said that it wudnt fit & after putting on all the parts late in a Ramadan night, everything had to be taken off and you can just imagine the feeling.

The denter gets busy in other projects of his & I start losing hope as I really didnt want to end up spending more to source and buy more parts just to waste time and money to end up with the same end result.

now he asks me to import styrofoam fitting for new bumper and new tyre shields that around the inner arc of the fender & i start looking for them online.

Finally bought the shields put them ina car in Japan waited long and when they reached Lahore, guess what ?!? It didnt fit since we didnt get the right PART NUMBER.

So sad ... This part number wala issue is disgusting ... Had been through this part number error ... What happened next ?

After the denter saw the situation at hand he finally decided to go the extra mile.

He altered the existing styrofoam and shields to make them work with the new design.

Though that nade me a but upset further since i felt if that was possible why he asked me to waste time and money to get those parts in the first place.

But i kept my cool and appreciated his current effort and we had fit the stuff again to find out another problem, the Headlights came without back covers and cudnt be installed without them. This part we didnt realize in the 1st attempt. So here we go again...

So the styrofoam & shields have been altered to fit the new face of the car.

The Headlights dont have a back lid on them, now were looking for them frantically as had to get the car back on the road soon, as I had 2 cars at the time and coping with 1 car wasnt a possible. We got a pair hand made but they just wudnt fit. We didnt have the Part #, if there was any to begin with. After some real effort we found out that the Lids are the same as Toyota Passo Hana Package.

So now we had to get those locally somehow as import would take way too long for such a small part.
