Yaar i am really confused. On one side merc has its class but age factor kicks in while on the other hand there is civic..newer but lacks quality.. I am confused..

Mercs are totally s*** and piece of junk. They demand a lot of maintainence and then finding parts again a big headache. I know a lot of people will oppose my opinion but I have a v v v bad experience with mercs. Waisay bhi u r talking about 2001 model, means 13 years old car. Itnay mein tu bacha jawan hu jata hai. I would prefer go for something newer and Jap for sure. The good thing with Prius is you get a lot of options such as push start, navigation, auto parking (in some) , hybrid technology, cruise control etc just to name a few

Well bhai i currently own 2 mercedes, one 2001 e class and one 1975 e class.. If maintained properly then no issues with these cars, great build quality. If genuine parts are used then they last very long. Its a misconception amongst ppl that mercs are hard to maintain, the whole thing is that people believe that mercs are very robust and durable and keeping this in mind they ignore the normal maintenance us they use cheap counter parts which leads to excessive maintenance.

Yes it requires some bucks to maintain a merc properly, but at the end its all worth it..

IMHO, Prius is better
More Class and Economy. Maintenance will not be problem for you as you have technical knowledge and know how to maintain precious vehicles ...
