I agree with everything you said but 220kmh on a japanese vehicle? LOL! Incase you are not fully aware sir, these cars can't cross 190kmh, they are limited,a civic or an altis can easily cross that speed.
Not that this would make it a good point to buy corolla or a civic, i just wanted to clarify your misconception

Who says there is a limit on JDM cars. Altis and Civic would take off at that speed mate! These fly at 150 kmh, really!

But second hand cars here usually do come with suprises.
A brand new car owner wld not like to see workshops for 3-5 years(besides oil filter brake pads etc)
Prius 1.8 inverter if blown will cost 90 000 rupees
If u blow a major part of a new car.warranty should cover it

Only 2 to 3 % cars are imported as damaged. The rest are ok. Please check the customs inspection reports and verify from Karachi port. JDM have better parts than locals so don't need mechanics that soon. Never seen a rush of JDM at Mechanics. Inverter is covered by 10 year warranty, there are no reports of it getting blown in millions sold. It can only get destroyed in a collision and that's pretty much it. But in case of an accident God forbid of the type that would destroy the engine, chasis, drive train and then inverter, the passengers would be dead in civic or corolla with no safety features and have better chances of survival in Prius with seven air bags. Prius even has a knee airbag for driver and whiplash injury protected headrests and ELR seatbelts that glue you to seats by getting taut. Think of your family in such an accident not the inverter mate. 90k is not the concern here but a family member who would fly straight out of the windshield after such an impact!

I have owned countless jdms and am still a proud owner of 3 at the current moment. Kindly read up on it, if not that, go ahead and try it. It won't cross 190kmh. I mean a prius is just a prius, even a Jdm Nissan Gtr doesn't cross 190kmh

Well either that, or maybe that was a UK import. Because if I am not wrong, the jdm speedometer is till 180kmh

My uncle tried top of his rx8 type s...jdm...it had digital speedometer.it was limited to 189km/hr

Yes the user manual says that the warranty for HSD is 10 years! It may not be claimed from Pakistan but reposes the confidence!

that manual is invalid in Pakistan, For confirmation call Indus Motors to confirm this clause. The warranty can only be claimed at original point of sale and through a delegated agent. Meaning an entity that sells toyota brand products.

Your car was bought as "auction item" on as is where is basis. If you had bought this from IMC and had this warranty claim then its possible.

e.g. Toyota give a 100,000 kms engine warranty in USA, but if I export a corolla from USA to Pakistan and blow it up in 20,000 kms, Toyota Motors USA will not honor it as the car is not in the continental USA.

Avoid 17" on non touring prius. You will ruin your cars suspension.
