AoA Everyone,
Yesterday I was driving my car on petrol. Suddenly the car started missing and stopped in no time. At that time I saw the petrol-cng conversion switch it was on correct position (on petrol) but the light was off. Luckily car had cng, I shifted it to cng and it started. I came home and turned the switch to neutral position and then shifted to petrol and it started (light was also on which was off at the time when the car stopped).
Till now the car is working fine on petrol no missing no problem whatsoever so I guess it's not tuning issue.
The same problem occured 3 months back at that time my car was on cng I shifted to neutral position and despite driving 5-10 kms the car didn't finish the cng and hence shifting on petrol was not possible and it automatically became ok afterwards.
Now I'm very worried bcz I don't know that when will it cause the same problem. I need opinion from experts that is it switch problem or cng kit wiring problem? And how it becomes corrected automatically?
Does same switch fit in all cng cars? What would be the cost of the switch?
PS: I don't know the name of the cng kit's company but it is made in Italy and made in Italy is also written on the switch.
