Hi Guys,

I am looking forward to buy a new car and I had Honda in my mind. With speculations of a new generation to be released next year(2011). Is it worth getting a brand new one?

The new generation will be released somewhere in 2012 and at the end of 2012 or 2013 in Pakistan. So no worries just go for it. Its a nice car to drive.

that is because i think civic has hydraulic steering while city has electronic steering which is obviously lighter than the hydraulic one......

guys when ppl say civic has an axel problem, what exactly do they mean? cuz as far as i know, axel is the drive shaft driving the front wheels... IF that collapses, i dont think the whole front suspension should break loose and push the tyres into the fender walls! its been posted all over PakWheels that civics which have crashed or have their front suspension ruined are because of an axel problem..... id like to know if it has axel problem which im confident it doesnt, whats the worst that could happen?

my car jerks between 1200-1800rpm what could be the possible problem.btw its 08 manual and only 48k driven.

IN all gears ? if its something not complex the simplest thing can be bad quality fuel.
Plz it can be a factor of the clutch you are not used to it and i have heard due to drive by wire manual shifting is kind of tricky

my 07 manual is gvng a whistle sound at 4500 rpm as i shft to 3rd gear this whistle sound nevr comes in 2nd gear .. nw wht could be the problm

today went to Honda cavalry ground.. they r saying its power steering pump is gvng the whistle sound.. but it can be normally used for a long tym..

Bhai i have kept 2 cars of this shape. one was 2008 and it had the second gear issue. but trust me its not any more in my 2009 its simply gone

Every one says bad axel or suspension thats wrong. i kept 2 civic's and drive to Charsadda villages but no problem. all rumors. one thing i would agree is the car have few blind spots. i some times am looking with very much concentration but still a cycle wala comes and in reverse also some times blind corners :P..

I personally think and even my friends and cousins who own this shape of civic all are very very satisfied . and ya the main issue is you have to run this car on Hi-Octane. as Company advises it. you will feel alot smoother drive with hi-octane, or else Knock problem.........

I recommend it who can afford it to have one. its the best car in this price range.

I think this model is in a dire need of a reverse camera. Peechay dekhnay se bhi kuch nazar nahin aata

lol. The seat height adjuster only helps a bit. For like 1-5 inches which is suitable for adjusting driving position. And it really donnot helps with back view.
