i have 2009 altis cruisetronic SR . . its a good car but its ac is not performing well . . have to drive above 60 to make it cool . . i got it checked from toyota walton and they told kaa due to leather it does not performs well . .

how are the brakes of gli? plz tell me because i like the car which has the best brakes, as gli has abs, ebd with brake assist.

Brakes of GLi are quite good. There is no skidding issue with GLi. Also the brake feel is way better than the previous model. When I drive cultus or datsun 120y after driving GLi, I feel that if the brakes have failed in these cars :).

One more thing; one issue was reported with the ABS of GLi sometime ago by a pw member. The ABS stopped working and toyota mechanics and technicians could not diagnose the problem. As car was in warranty so they replaced the car with a new one (i think 200k or 300k were paid for the new car). Other than that I haven't heard of any issue with the brakes of GLi.

Friens i own a 2009 GLI,1st problem is its gear shifting especially the reverse gear which is stiff mostly,TOYOTA ppl dont hsve sny dstidfsctory reply except blah blah.But steering and drive is very light which i like.Robudt suspension.Silver handles yeeeeakh.Good stability.Good body contours.ABS is ok,at least it works.Recommend it for bumpy and jumpy Pakistani roads.

I think to move the ECU, you have to alter the wiring so you should not move the ECU.

If the engine bay is dirty then you can use engine bay cleaners to clean it. And if you want to wash the engine then just cover the ECU completely with some plastic bag. Please make sure that ECU is covered completely. Also don't use high pressure hose to wash the engine bay. And don't use excessive water where electrical components (Sensors) are located.

assume i have new corolla its running fine and i am getting its work done from authorized dealer and i tell them to service it and take care of the Ecu. so in this case if something happens they are responsible.

If you'er so confident, try it out.

A few years back i sent my honda city to the dealership for the regular maintainence, when i got the car back there was a scratch on the dashboard the dark brown panel near the stereo, and i was charged for its repair( when i say repair i mean a little touchup so its not too visible).

This is just my experience, i was once told that someones steering wheel apparently locked up on the motorway, and the car was totalled. Indus motors took no responsibility.

They dont give a damn once the car is sold, even if they mess it up.

And actually an authorized dealer would never spray water in the engine bay.

Standard corolla , not much difference quite same as older model, a little improvemnt in brks and power steating due to EPS. less acceleration. I am not impressed. city and civic both far better. I have switched to civic now.
