side stripes do look kool on red 84 detomaso, no doubt about it, but for metalic grey in 86 model, they dont look that good,and you can count on me because of two reasons
1- i m an architect
2- Shuja is an interior designer
while starting this project, we had one thing in mind, better not change the theme of an italian design, and modify this design in harmony with the aesthetics of what ITALIANS do, so its the ITALIAN WAY NOW.
u can say we spent more time in planning and thinking wot will go right while selecting RIMS, designing exterior, for instance, we had to design the side vinyles (although in original Italian font) but to enhance the PUNCH in the word de tomaso, so they are in reflectors now (before they were nt visible at night, and the size was so small. same is we thought to remove the black stripes and here it looks more elegant and SLEEK is the right word to explain it.
