didnt want to resort to any electrician while making this car so all of the fittings and wiring wa done by me and my bro...but this cluster in particular was very difficult and we went to one electrician for wiper rods setting and he managed to start the speedo and rpm after few mins the speedo was still working and the rpm stopped he made he sensor in the diesal pump the verdict

while the feul guage was working when the reserve light came on i removed the needle and put it on e and filled diesal and it works

now about the rpm how to check if the sensor in the pump is bad

also i want to install the tthermostat valve should i or should i not
if yes then what brand and of how much temp

the pump sensor sends signal to another unit which is near the A/C evaporator (it also needs engine rpm signal) - check the wiring from that.

of checked all fuses and sensors no problem in that changed the diesal pump sensor also no problem in that gave extra earth to speedo both started working after some time rpm again stopped so i guess theres a faulty earth in the engine bay will open up the engine loom today and see for any wire burns or loose connections

..also about the thermostat valve any chance to know which one is for the toyota 2c

installed the tstat valve for testing purpose till the the needle is slightly below key mark
will add toyota coolant ethylene glycol type pre mixed in few days
speed is working but the rpm isnt working the meter is good checked the sensor of rpm on direct with meter it gave pulse signals to the rpm not constant please keep in mind i accidently broke the generator grip and messed with the wiring the generator works can there be any problem from that specific wiring

im really stressed now even opened the complete engine room wiring to check to breaks or burns fixed the speedo connector and repacked the loom with fresh tubing and wiring tape and electric tape

even got a new outer main fuse box

also xulfiqar bai my 2c has a emissions control card can that be faulty hence the no rpm signal

thanks man that charade is a 4efe in future i plan on making a charade or a dolphin civic in yellow wrap with black roof bonnet and trunk

also as u can see my car needs number plates rear chrome mouldings and some badges

but have to get the ac sorted out also power pump is leaking have to get rid of mechanics before the final touches

but first need to fix the rpm been a week cant find the problem source

ac not performing upt the mark i think i need to get gas recharged from toyota

About the number plates, it would be a good idea to get jdm style plates for it. This here is what I've come up with for my car,

If the power pump itself is leaking, it would be better to replace it than trying to fix the leakage or the leakage would continue to haunt you since there is quite an amount of pressure in the pump. If there's a leak between the two pieces of the case, and if you can get the casing open, then you should be able to fix it for good with some good gasket making silicone.

that looks really good what are u using for the lights?? oem light holder or after market leds?

I'm using a white led strip that i've covered with pale yellow tint. Now it gives a very nice off white-ish light for the number plate.

If you're talking about the tail lights, they have the stock bulbs in them.

I made the plate myself. I can make them for you too but it'll take some time because I'm pretty busy with something else these days. A way to go about it would be to get normal plates made for now and as soon as I get free, I'll make the jdm style ones for you.
