if you want to put armor on your car - its your choice - but if you have spent so much on bling bling - why did you cheap out on the bodykit, when you could have gone the lightweight route, that way the finishing and repairability also becomes easy.
I recall seeing a celica in Karachi which had a sheet metal body kit, that thing sounded like a drum on the roads - and was in general a giant pain for the owner who had spent a good part of 1 year getting it fabbed - the car was left to rust after 6 months because the owner hit it on something and it again required months to rebuild as everything was handmade with no braces. Get my drift.
When doing upgrades its better to stick to whats measureable, because just because it can be done doesnt mean its great.
