the car is not worht hte money and if you are intending on chopping it up and fitting a toyota engine to it then you might as well buy anything. all you'll be doing is throwing good money after bad and ruining a car. my advice is to therow the same amount of cash on a corolla coupe or something similar and fit a V6 to it. what you ahve planned for this car is sacrilege.

i second storm either restore it or else buy sumthing else n put toyota engine v 6 or v8 watvea u prefer but please dont disrespect the car yes these projects need $$$ but u can save a lot if u knw frm where u get them cheap the most thing u need is patience this is the most important part in restoration if u dont have time n patience then i would suggest dont go for it else on u tc bye...

and i do remeber this car when it was standing near holy family hospital in pindi.it was all original with no holes in floor or roof and only had a diesel engine.that guy after a lot of bakwas did demand 250000.and i didnt have that amount than.

its an amazing car . but tht one is a junk i do have ecperirnce in american cars and ive never paid ober a 100000 for em. and thy r all complete in running condition.u have to complete bonkers to buy it for 7lacs..
i wont pay over a 100g for and tht to because its so rare.. and only in case of do or die.
u must keep in mind wat a pain its going to be rebuilding it
with all the part not being available

Youre whole project is wrong bro...The car is waste(too expensive),the engine is waste (lc engine in cuda, u planning offroading??), that i-10 body is crap from what i have heard...

I have actually seen it rolling on the roads in RWP and ISB.

Always wanted to get my hands on this one back in 1992, but at that time it had a coater B series engine and a was parked in front of community center. shadi hall near Holy Family. I still remember the showroom owner had plans of importing a V8 and other parts and restoring it, as it was in pretty bad condition even then, and with time it has gotten worse, Owner was asking 145K in year 92~93.

Personally I would go with most of the Guys on this thread that its not worth investing 700K on just the basic frame, after all it is not a collectors item, and as per your plans putting in parts from other makes will not do justice to your spending and restoration in its true spirit.
