nopes, when you start a mercedes benz restoration project - you either should be working with your own two hands or have super deep pockets - because its a benz, an automobile built by the finest company in the auto world - hence it is EXPENSIVE.

When restoring such a car you have to consider that e.g. if the car were USD 20,000/- at its birth in the 60's its not that you can spend USD 20,000/- today to restore it to perfection, you would have to add todays currency appreciation - it comes out more than USD 20,000/- this is only valid if you have a car worthy of restoration - not a rusted piece of scrap with the MB star.
