Project Dhoom YD 70 Upgrade to 110cc

My target is to keep it as camouflaged as it can be I even don't want some one to recognize a CG carb fitted on it... I mean from looks it should look like a tired old abu ki motor cycle... but can put a 125 rider into confusion how did a 70cc crossed him ... and yes its possible I have seen it in Gujranwala races..

when @silver_knife visited Lahore ... he was in confusion that how come a 70 is cruising so fine while we two bulky riders are on it... then i told him whats under cover and he laughed a lot and said "DANG" now thats really an under cover 125 ...
@BlueHorn also had a test ride ... he was quite satisfied with the results too.. we initially planned to take it to our recent Galiyat trip but then we planned to test Ravi piaggio up there and took Ravi paiggio instead ..

by the way I had to replace rear tyre to larger one, and harden the front suspension too...

I am also not interested to fancy it or make it look cool... NO SIR... Hence "Under Cover 125"

you pretty much solved the issues ..
do make sure that the holes/bores of the carb bend pipes are in perfect harmony with carb and the head .. and not offset ..

and your assumptions are also correct about my bike ..

We are waiting to know the top speed of your byke on any sprocket configuration for which a 110cc engine can bear the load. i like the final reduction ratio of sprockets to be near 2.375 = 38/16 or some thing. for a 110cc.

with that engine it would reach speeds of 80 kmph pretty quickly in 3rd gear then on a bit long routes it would reach 100kmph +- something.

but this was with me sitting normal outright . result was same with double sawari.

the overall gain by these mods was power. it would achieve speeds easily and would maintain it .

in a bid to do some more mods ( by installing some bigger pistion of max100 ) i bored that 110cc cylinder but also wanted to adjust combustion chamber .. but it was destroyed by kharadia..

i killed my dad's cd70 planned to rebuild it , i installed cd100's standard piston in it , its bore is 50mm
bike is all stock except it , it rides great but only clocks 100kmph at speedo , what to do if i want needle to bang its head with the 120 figure??
a cg carb nd air intake etc? what sprockets?

@ hidalgo is at at 14-38 sprockets ? the top speed should not increase only with bigger piston ?

m using stock sprocket , i feel bike more jaan daar now , though goes to 100kmph at speedo which is definately faulty

Bro i have unique 70 will this alteration work on it if ichange its cylinder to 110 and head of genion ud 70 will head work with it properly...?

This is not a boast but I have a 1997 Honda CD 70. It is with my father since 1999, before that it was with my Khalu.
When we purchased the bike it was clocking 2200 kms. after that my cousin used it till 2009. Never got it tuned in those 9 years but engine oil was changed ever 7-8 months
In 2009, when the bike was handed over to me it was in terrible condition. The engine was all gone.
I used it for 1-2k kms and after that got the engine overhauled.
Running was done by me at the speed of 40-45 max. After completing 1000kms I started to rev the engine higher.
The results were amazing. The bike used to go up till 85 km/hr in 3rd gear and in the 4th gear, all the way up till 115 km/hr.
And yes the speedometer was perfectly alright. Synchronized it with many other bikes and even with cars.
I used that bike for like 3000-4000 kms and after that got a new bike and it was 2008 Honda CD 70.
Now I use the 2008 CD as my daily driver but in the mean time the bike was parked in my garage.
My younger brother started riding the old 1997 CD and now when I ride the old one I don't feel the thrill.
The bike goes till 90 max.
It seems like its engine is losing power.
Can you suggest what can I do to restore it to its lost glory.

same thing was happened to me my father was purchased a CD 70 who,s model was 92 or 93 when i run it hard bike meter needle easily crossed 120km/h in the area of 1.5km.i achieved this speed on that cd 70 many many times my eyes were start flowing water & water doesn,t stop this is my own hand experience.but now a days cd 70 are a piece of crap

yes it is still with me .
as mentioned at some point in above thread i wanted to install even bigger piston and that needed combustion chamber alteration .. so in the process of its alteration it was ruined..

after that i bored its stocket 78cc cylinder to 100cc cylinder and using qingqi 100 piston.

124 cc seems to be an overkill.. esp if we consider the compression ratio that will be created and also the valves wont withstand the resulting compression pressure and the heat .. so its natural in above particualr case.

yes as the matter of fact when a valve hit his seat he transfer his heat to head. bigger valve mean more easily heat transfer ok dear saboor khan

i dont think there are any bigger valves for 70cc head .. neither could be the possibility of its installation..

70's in valve is 22mm and ex is 20mm.
