MashaAllah! Loving the finish on it. Though I've noticed something, have you taken off the tow hook from the back permanently or will you put it back on once its been painted? Talking about the one you got custom made.

this unique switch fitted on the front frame/brace which makes the circuit when the hood is popped up, i will do a little DIY by either connecting it to a hooter through the keyless entry system or I will a connect a light that will lit when the hood is opened.

I did the same with my car.
This would be a nice addition in terms of security.

Thanks v8, it is the actual color of my car. The code is NH527M and it is available in two shades I chose the lighter one. This color is called Pewter Grey. At first I was more interested in white but later on I changed my decision.

Yes I will put 'em back. They were removed to be colored separately. And yes they were hand made with steel plate as at that time I was short of money so didn't made them on tooling or on CNC machine.

In my understanding there are two ways in which this switch can be put to use one is to attach it with the security system trigger and the second one is to put LED stick-on lights on the inner side of the hood which should light up as the hood is opened. In my case I have attached it in the second way, as I have plans to introduce a passive immobilizer in the ecu so there will be ample security level in the car (which is unfortunately always less).

No brother it wasn't painted by Suzuki Sarwar motors. Actually I searched for 3 to 4 paint booths the nearest one was not dust proof, the second one had issues with its oven unit. So finally decided to paint it here as it was fully functional so after consultation with the painter it was finalized. You can check the painter isn't from Suzuki company.

Yes I was talking about getting it with the security alarm trigger, anyways if you have got plans for an immobilizer then its good to use it with the light.
IMHO get a good quality bulb with housing for the engine bay (something like the trunk light in Santro) light will be less but it will look neat than the bling of the LED.
The illumination will be better with LED strip lights but please do get some good quality and good looking decent stick on LEDs, not the ones which we see in our local taxis.
