First borns usually have a very tough time from the inexperienced parents. Many years ago, a friend of mine had a serious problem. His daughter, about 4-5 months old got pneumonia. It was winter. The doctor advised steam inhalation.

Instead of getting advice from someone experienced, the couple boiled water in a large pot and my friend held the baby over the steaming water. The baby slipped and fell into the pot.

It was a miracle that the baby survived. Half of her body is still covered with burn scars.

They would be jailed had they been in developed nation. As I doc I would never accept his explanation. that comes under child abuse:) Baby fallen in a hot water is considered intentional!

God its a miracle that half of babies actually survive in hands of inexperience parents!
