Khurram Bhai ... I had a long discussion on preferred colours for Corolla with a friend ..

Black looks very grand, but very hard to keep clean ..even in a relatively cleaner city like Islamabad.

Among other colours, classic silver appears to be better.

You are right about matching of colour on mental and plastic .. no doubt that has a noticeable difference.

The paint quality on plastics is detoriated in new units being given...Not only there are shade differences, the paint peel off from these areas with very minor scratches even! I noted the different shade of the facelift 1.3L GLi grill; today by chance three silver cars were parked side by side and it was looking very odd!

the colour silver has always been an issue with toyota. back in the 90s they had the same colour matching issue with teh rear bumper of the supra as well. it has something to do with the prep that goes into making hte base for both plastic and metal.

on the supra you could see a HUGE difference in the bumper and body if the car was silver.

I really wish McDonalds and KFC could follow the US standards rather than Japanese ones ..

Japanese are fascinated by small sizes ... you might be surprised to know that smallest bottle of mineral water is packaged in Japan with volume of 50 ml

American size burger kha kar kuch ban jata hai .. Japanese size say nahin

I do remember my days in Nanjing when I have to survive on those tiny miny fish burgers from Mc Donalds

The best safe bet in China is to keep on the lookout for restaurant guys wearing namaz wali topi ... and you can go for the noodle soup (the same that we had at Goldren Dragon)

I kept silver Cultus during 2004 - 2009 when I was in Lahore. During this time I literally abused it! ~165k driven; and being in Lahore; rush hours driving (pick and drop from School) and weekly travel back and forth to my hometown...I think its door, roof and back bumper were the only things in genuine color...all remaining panels were repainted over the time; and from different places (I was new in Lahore and exploring my options) In short when I sold it; its all panels had different shades of Silver

We still miss that car; it was our dukh and sukh ki sathi back in Lahore!

The issue is that in that area might be some issue .... it is always better to choose a secluded place for GTGs

Yes, of course we develop a relationship with such cars ...

It would have been better to get the whole car sprayed .. Metallic colours are always a challenge when matching colours is considered
