I'm trying my best to work it correctly..with ur suggestions especially..:)..thats y the work is slow..slow but steady ..every gadet on the car is now in working condition..

If you face any mechanical issues with the rear wheel bearings - do not let the mechanic repair it by feel and purana tareeqa, There is a very intricate process to set them up. Even the front ones are very hard to get right to 0.02mm axial play. The old "nut mila dena" does not work with MB.

I recently redid the fronts on my W124 and took some pictures too, it requires a dial gauge to setup - trouble is that the camera is now MIA.

Mashallah, nicely done indeed. It's jut that you ought to have:

1. Closed the flag pole holes
2. Replace the steering wheel and
3. Changed the 240 emblem to say the least.
4. Installed mud flaps.

As for the car:

1. how many times has the metre gone round, any idea? My nana's `79 has a six digit one.
2. Are the seats and carpet genuine?
3. Don't the rear doors have an ashtray in each?

I may have asked you before also but what about the engine? Is it the original one? Is the sunroof functional?
