i had a query in my mind which is can VITZ engine fit in khyber bay without too much alteration?
cuz in some future tym,im planning to get some 1.0L EFI engine,all i want is EFI which is priced reasonably...im not race n power freak i knw for tht purpose there r sports car....lol

How about swapping a 1.0 litre Suzuki Cultus EFI engine?
I dont think it would require any alteration

well getting a big engine will require alteration in side walls which is not good rest is ok....

So any 1.0 will be batter

you can buy efi cultus engine for same price as daniyal said...so batter look for the suzuki stuff..

all i found alteration was of mounts position.....right mount point is same for my new engine.....the front position got changed and is now almost in middle of the front bar.....along with radiator ....same will go cultus engine

and 2 mounts on under engine plate which can be bought again....even if you make any chnages to it...so over all alteration is very low

n cltus efi engine is not tht readily available also...

with auto or manual transmission ?...you can get cultus engine below 60k

i have stock setup with stock 600 rupees plugs on super without TPS sensor ans tock orignal piping of khyber and exhaust....and running lean

still i was ahead of vti 1.6 by half car gap which beated the fastest reborn in islamabad by 3 cars gap...

So yes it has high power/ratio to reborn
and i do have alot of work to be done after summer...

paid 57k with my engine ...i think after that around 10k more some stuff got broken in autocross....and 5k for extra work..and you know improvments keep getting money out:P

u sure about 57 k cause i remember paying 48 k for a stock khyber engine too some mechanic in g 8 cause its original got blown off my mixing of water and engine oil and then i got diesel filled so if u got ur g15a at 57k i would have gone for it :o

Guys!
Do you think that an air intake which is sitting (actually kissing the cambelt cover) about 2 inches off the cast iron casing (the best conductor of heat) of the main engine can give your engine COLD AIR?

I would instead take a flexible garden hose fitted on a stock filter and lead it inside the cabin and still fetch more power then this so called COLD AIR INTAKE set up.

it was a temporary solution not a thought over mod...
for the time being there was no other place for it to go except that. and wait for it will go inside the back of the light probably very soon
or a good fiberglass partition between the filter and the engine.
Just wait...
there are many things unfinished in there at the moment

hahahaha,...u know cultus 1000cc engine and khyber engine cost more then baleno 1.3 and 4efe engines..cuz of more sale then these....

still i got for low prize cuz of alot of factors..but for you..you should have complete swap in around 70k or if done from Mitu khan..then 10k or 15k less
