@Spiderman
Thanks a lot for the help (taking pics of my fj & posting them here)
@Wheelers/IJC & all other friends,
Sorry for the long delay as i was very busy in office as well as out of town for family matters.More over my internet at home was not wroking.Today I requested spidy (as he lives in my lane) & poses a very good camera as well as the hands behind it to take pics of the FJ-cruiser.
After a three months long tiring effort finally the beauty is on the road.
Its a 1984 Model Toyota Fj-cruiser auctioned by Pakistan Army in May-2010.
Still applied for registration.The number displayed on the vehicle is temporary .Under the hud is a toyota 2f engine (6 cylinder 4.2Liter) petrol engine.
Military pattern seats, all stock e.g dash board,engine,gear differentials seats etc.
All I added was a cng kit & its runs great on cng as well.Rs 4.75 per km with a top speed of 125km/h and on petrol its aw-some...7 km per liter but like a bullet...
Few alterations i made...carborator is altered its a R-2 engine (which comes in petrol Toyota hiace engine) as its own 2f carborator was dead.
Cng KIt and 15 size rims with dunlop low profile tyres.
I made this jeep piece by piece & I am happy and more than satisfied.
There is a long list of details of the work i did my special thanks to Shah Mechanic, Farooq Mechanic,Jameel Ustad (dentor), Tariq mEchanic (cng) Nauman 8ff , Spder Man, Salman TLC,Akif Janjua, Saqib Jan J for time to time advices & help.
