Yes, there should be some interesting deals coming up. Also, are you planning to wrap the headers? The boost pipe entering the intake manifold is right above one of the headers which would heat up the boost and somewhat nullify the effort of the intercooler.

Yes wraps are already purchased but will put on it once it's finalised.

However turbo housing wraps are not yet made. We will make custom one for them.

Vauxhall Victor have the capability to hold the weight but for the performance upgrading reason we will be reinforcing it.

I think you are being overconfident on the oldschool suspension setup this car has - It wasnt planted even in original form. The rear is also live axle with not much for linkage - meaning lots of creative thinking is required to redo the entire handling package otherwise this will become ugly to drive. - Think of it this way - if you consider toyota to be great in design - they why did they never use this type of suspension in the supra?

Your brake M/C is extremely close to the exhaust and turbo - which essentially will cook the master cylinder and boil the fluid once the turbo gets into operating tempeature range (I have seen it in Karachi and the results were ugly because that certain car lost all brakes whilst trying to stop from 200 km/h)

you will need to make the brake setup like an old jaguar with primary master cylinder (in your case above the pedals inside the car) and remote booster setup.

btw - have you calculated the total airflow you are going to generate with these turbos and is the engine capable of handling that much airflow? - and what energy is required to spin up the holset into action.

Then comes the transmission - with these 2 turbos Im thinking you are aiming for 1000+ hp at somewhere near 9000 rpm redline (running something like a motec controlling 16 or so fuel injectors and Im hoping you are going to rework the engine for the dynamic compression boost.)What transmission is going behind this engine? there are only a handful of units that can channel that much torque - e.g. a toyota A340E or A341E will become qeema behind it.

Whilst in Karachi I built a GM TH400 that was sourced from a HMMWV military truck. It was a full buildup with a 4000 rpm stall converter and all the works - it went behind a built 2JZ-GTE because anything else including the stock mighty 6 spd manual getrag was being destroyed by the sheer torque of the engine. With the built TH400 setup you could dump power all day long through it and it can handle it like cake - RIP = the diffy

stock turbo hydramatic 400 shifts slow as mud - its not a bolt on deal either.

Honestly I think he's going to get around 700-ish with the inducer size of the turbos. As specs haven't been shared about the turbos, I'm guessing here. 16 injectors aren't really needed for that power level, even to 1000 bhp, it's like 125bhp per cylinder, honestly, a good set of 800 CC/min will get the job done.

At those power levels, with the traction available on Pakistani roads, the R154 would probably hold. A V160 is better, a built TR6060 or TH400 is best.

As for suspension, probably the most important thing would be to seam weld the body with a rollcage tying all hard mounting points together. It has to be as stiff as possible. Then some slapper bars on the rear if leaved and a Panhard rod, else a four link setup with antiroll bar. Front would need quite a bit of custom work.

It's my 1st project & i m not a guru so by no way's I can be overconfident as I know there r lots of places need to be work out. But I am ready to experiment and learn from it as I have no experience , & yes I must say your experience & knowledge will make my time n effort save.

Coming to braking part.

M/C location was my concern to. What i have in mind was that i will insulate this area once the exhaust pipe location is finalised. I will make a wall around it and apply heat insulation sheets on that wall. Have no idea about old jaguar braking system but I will study on that part now:).

Wherease the engine being planted is Non VVTI without the imobilizer the genration has heavy and rigid internals and is capable to handle the twin Holsets easily no matter on lows or highs...

Wrapping is a must n will be carried out asap inshallah.

The expected output on is 500 to 600hp initial no need to update the internals for such power.
Mentioning this that the project is not for drag purpose....

About the diff its 4:1 keeping the drift part in mind the differential is tough enough even if used for potential drags also.....

the amount of money spent on getting this engine, adding new turbos on it, wiring a control system, plumbing a fuel system to cope, tubbing it out etc - I think if a chevy small block were bought and then built up - you would be be quite ahead of your goal and under budget, and its a very easy engine to sort out too.

with turbocharging an engine, unless you are writing an ecu and drive system from scratch - its never quite a good project - and you know it takes a hell of a lot of time to smooth out a torque band and keep combustion temperatures and speeds in check. A good boosted engine should perform like an NA engine on steroids when tuned.

with this setup - Im reminded of an old FB RX7 with 1UZ a long time ago in Karachi, all it did was either standstill or burn tyres. The owner got sick and tired of that car and scrapped it.

The FB RX7 wasnt phenomenal in the chassis department but this car is way more caveman than the FB. Over here in USA when someone redos an old american muscle car for speed purpose the suspension is not factory stock - it has quite a lot of additions and updates to keep it in check.
