I think I made these tables in 2001 travelling in my Nissan 280C. Now you cant do Pindi to Gilgit in 12.3 hours

we must spare 3 days for upto gilgit. Aj kal NATCO bhi 24hourz lay rahi ha gilgit kay. NATCO 051-9278441. As we have to do sight seeing also. Miniumum two days required from Pindi to Gilgit and could be 3 days.

Following decisions were taken in the monthly GTG today at Caspian Sea Restaurant,
1.Departure date would be Tuesday 5th of July at midnight Inshaullah.
2. We shall reach Nowshehra either by train (if AC sleepers booked) or Nishi busses.
3. Start early morning 6th of July.
4. Visit, Lawari Top, Kaafristan, Chitral, Shandhoor, Phandar, Gilgit, Hunza, Atabad Lake, deosai, Rupal and back.
5. Most riders would return after 10 days.
6. A few would spend another 14 days exploring Deosai and Rupal valley.
7. This is a tentative plan and final decisions as always will be taken at the spot.

You are most welcome to join the club. Let me transfer your querry to PBC president Imran Bhatti sahib for the formalities.
On such trips we usually share the tools and other travelling requirements otherwise it gets too heavy for a single person/bike.

I think he can coordinate with our departure time and join us in Nowshehra...

Regarding the travelling gear, the only thing that we want but not a must is protection gear... also a helmet is a must (H) ... and i think he will be booking his bike to Nowshehra so only bikes original toolkit will be sufficient for him...

That's y i said that it's not a must but a good to have thing... other solution could be to have simple knee and elbow protection... and that could be found in any reasonable sports shop at a very low price...

Regarding leather jacket, that's y i opted for a cordura jacket because in our country mostly the temperature is hot... :S

But still i think it would be wearable by you when we enter the areas at greater altitude but not sure about that...
