Pros and cons of direct radiator fans

I Have an extra clip for the module which came with the new fans I installed. Any kind of wires like 7/29 with small clamps will extend them to the other end. I will connect the 3 clamps to other cars module clip and attach the clip to my module will it work. Is there any danger. ?

I have attached a separate relay with switch in my Daewoo racer.....my wiring have a fault and nobody is able to rectify it....it starts automatically for 1st time when heats up but when temperature settle down it becomes off and never turn on again.......tried everything from ECT sensor to ECU but same behavior.....electricians are baybus in front of her and kabuli wiring available are in worst shape so living with that....so when needle creeping........I turn on the fan manually.....it comes down in 30 seconds....fan installed original gates fan of opel kadett

Is there any way to install some kind of a relay or anything which speed up the fan whenever they are switched on, I mean when ever ECU sends a signal they run full power, that way they will only run when needed and full power. This whole module can be replaced with some relays or device which powers the fans whenever the signal comes on.

I mean any other cars fans control system to be installed without this module. Like corolla and Honda's which are available easily and run the fans full power whenever ECU send a signal.

daewoo had a resistor to slow down the fan, If I remember correct its near the battery and the system is run from a relay under the dashboard (it actually has two relays, one low and one high) - do a voltage drop test to see if the relay socket it bad or the relay is bad. - 99% of the times the wires were cut and tied together to run the fan at high speed. (pls note the fan runs at low speed with A/C on and the high kicks on when the liquid pressure peaks or the coolant temperature reaches 100C which is middle of gauge)

If your mechanics have the old GM tech tool they can manually engage the fans to test them (the same tool is used for early suzuki liana and swift)

Which one summer winter or installing relays instead of module.

Also please tell me in winter if they always run at very low speed will it effect the engine.

Just a small suggestion if it works... install a switch and connect it to the output of ECU sending signal to Fan.... and then switch will turn Fans On...( Fans taking power direct as when they r direct and switch is just to turn them on or off taking signal from ECU).
I hope u understand...

Zulfiqar I did some online research there are some pwm to analogue modules available can we install this module with both power and ECU wire in the input and both fans on the out manual wiring of course. At least that way I will get rid of this idiotic module and install a good quality wirings and relays.

Will it work? I don't want to burn the wiring though.

Zulfiqar as you know my alternator was bad showed battery signs sometimes, I always checked the modules with that alternator on the car, my abs light has never showed up since the alternator change, could it be that alternator always destroyed the modules. Since I have installed this new Bosch alternator I haven't tested any modules just the old ones,

Yes it does roar when cold and gets quite after some time.. it has proper shroud.. but still I think after getting hot it does not spin in full speed..
Could the smaller sized radiator cause the heating issue? or is there any harm if I replace the radiator with higher capacity rad?

the 1GFE requires a 6 to 7 litre cooling system to efficiently work, the fan also requires very hot air infront of it to work, if the radiator is cold directly infront of the clutch (e.g. choked tubes) - the fan will never engage. Best test is to check when the radiator is hot - the fan should engage and you should hear it roar into life, once it cools down - the roar goes away and the fan just freewheel spins.

that happens when you have too much ac voltage ripple in the system.

Zulfiqar if the AC system is having additional gas then specified and the AC won't trip accordingly will it heat up the engine. ? In my friends car he filled the AC system after service and vacumed the AC system before filling the gas and filled 630gm as per system capacity detail fetched from the internet. Now the compressor is not tripping at all before it was triping accordingly like normal now even after half hour not tripping. Bello sensor is functioning.

In my cultus, fan is auto but temp after 60kmph is 30% on the gauge, while in traffic and low speed its 45% and fans only kicks in when idle or in traffic, so is this behavior ok?
I use to drive my car on 5th gear on highway with a slight accelerator and low rpm and temp drops to 30% not more...

i think...Thermostat valve has been removed....and the engine temperature is varrying accordingly..

check and re install the correct T Valve...the temp shud remain same...regardless of these things...

No i changed thermostat in start of 2016 with brand new one of SGO worth 1450rs from well reputed shop waseem autos from saddar rawalpindi...

T stat valve can go faulty...i think..its stuck open ...

in the morning start the car and then monitor temperature on inlet and outlet pipes...and also radiator...

the radiator shud remain cold till the tstat valve opens...

also open the radiator cover( open till engine is running cold, never open when hot) and see if water is circulating...

if the radiator starts warming up soon after starting the car...it means t valve is stuck open...

No such behaviour... It takes 7 to 8 mins to reach optimum temp
