by going through all this thread i got to know that proton launched good cars in reasonable price........but what about spare parts? r they available easily in market? as i just see in pics but it think that this car i just like a china mobile......(DAKHNE MIAN ACHA......SASTA.....MAGAR NO RESALE.......OR AGAR KHARAB HO JAY TU SIRIF KABAR)

i just bought a gen2 1.6 manual ... its a great car , i also own a xli 2010 and vti 2005, i would say it completely blows the xli in every aspect, although the ride quality is not as good as the civic. ... my gen2 beats both my xli and vti although i dont want to get in quarrel about vti vs xli vs proton speed as the vtis of pakistan can eat every F1 car 6 times a day everyday

launched and failed badly i ve hardly seen a dozen and a half protons on road ever since they launched back in 2006.

yeah they still are selling cars they have a showroom in rawalpindi near daewoo bus stop but believe me the spare parts are wayy out of reach a neighbour bought a proton gen 2 and an impian for his wife and the IMPIAN had an accident and a head light was around 13000 so u can imagine yourself the prices of spareparts

amazing that after nearly 4 years, Proton is yet to make its ground here. They never sell their products in good number, they are least bothered to do proper advertising, they are least bothered to revise their lineup, looks as if they are happy selling a handful of units in a year OR they wish to clear out their existing stock and then fly away..

I saw an advertisement today of Proton Saga price PKR 735,000 . Looks like very reasonable car but I don't have any idea about its spare parts availability. Can some body guide me about it. I am not looking for resale.

But Ive been to Malaysia, so its the highest selling car there,
Its much comfortable, Smooth to drive, and very quite interior...
Its 100 times better than Alto Cuore ...
Cant compare it with the higher cars though... Corolla / City are better then it
