Absolutely. these maintenance free batteries die without any warning. It is strange that I get a warning on the dash if my car remote is about to die, but the car itself gives no warning about the main battery!!! Actually on the Chery, if the battery dies, most of the modules store a low voltage error. This is true for all modern cars with CAN bus. Typically cars operating via CAN bus will have a Engine Control Module, Transmission Control Module, Body Control Module, there may be SRS module etc ctc. If the voltage falls below a minimum threshold value will set low voltage code. This is not specific to the ADAS system.
