Those who are saying better situation in other parts of punjab should not compare the situation with pumps on highways. Yesterday I was travelling from allah ho chowk to shaukat khanum and there are atleast 6-7 pumps on that road alone and on both sides this means 12-13 pumps and all the pumps had cars in excess of 25.
Today morning checked PSO girja chowk at around 9:45 and there were 50+ cars in queue and another pump near that had 60+ cars and still the pumps were not open. I was wondering suppose each car takes 5 minutes that there is quite possibility that some of them might not CNG at all even after waiting for 6 hours.
Those of you who are saying that CNG association is against this does not know the facts. The CNG association itself proposed the Government to do that. And about timings to benefit the transporters the CNG association itself proposed such schedule because there is a cartel of transporters and CNG association who buy more than 70% CNG domestic car users have only 1 cylinders where as transporters have minimum 2-3 cylinders and buses have 12+ cylinders. Now see for yourself if you own a CNG station whom would you prefer to sell to a bus having 12 cylinder and a sale of 100kg at once or a car with 1 cylinder and a sale of 9 kg.
This CNG association is not in favour of general public they are just in favour of transport mafia and that is why they kept schedule according to their will.
For those who are saying lines will finish in 4-5 days do you know that on average a commercial transport consumes the CNG it has in 10-12 hours no matter how much they fill so they will be in line to fill every day.
The only thing that I am seeing is that the lines which used to be on 2-3 days now there is line every day, blocking roads and also creating a situation where if god forbid some terrorist attack happens there will be loss of hundreds of lives
