Chor. Shift to petrol :). Mainay to Cng Kay baray main Sochna hi chor diya hai. Now I laugh on ppl standing in Cng lines. It's useless.

Shifted to petrol permanently and enjoying the drive. The engine always seemed to beg some mercy when on CNG...

i used to get same pick on cng as petrol with very slight difference but then i got it tuned for economy, now need to push it n then its pros as well

Well, the pick as well as acceleration in my case was awesome. But still, there's something in petrol drive that CNG is missing altogether. Don't know how to describe it, but it really is a fun to drive on petrol.

This not being said by someone who drove it occasionally on petrol. The charade I previously had didn't have any CNG for it's three years life in my home...!!!

I'm gonna remove the CNG or sell this one and get a diesel one soon, IA

u dont need to tell me, i know the fun of driving on petrol esp pushing a 1.6L civic

diesel cars were good when it was cheap but now its more expensive than petrol n any1 having good condition diesel car wont let it go either

Today after spending 1 hr 45 min in CNG queue, when there were 4 5 cars ahead of me....electricity went off..................

normally I donot stand is such long lines but today I was compelled to wait for ladies while they were out for shopping....

On saturday when I was in this long queue, there was an Alto, green color, LEB 12 6240 which was driven by a driver. Now in total I spent 1hr 45mins in line, and that driver saab kept the engine start with AC ON for about 1hr. and 15mins. while everyone turned off engine after moving bit forward, that guy was "enjoying" AC ki thandi hawa.... and for very less time he came out of the car, may be just to breath in fresh air.....

this is how drivers ruin the vehicles. To save money on CNG he burned petrol for more than one hour, and the wear n tear happened to engine is separate during this idle time.

thats easy to achieve on cng as well but cars dont give space n then i keep an eye out for speed cams esp after getting a ticket once

drivers dont care at all, they keep ac on all the time even while waiting in markets

Starting the engine from off for 15 times puts much more stress and wear and tear on engine (as well as battery and other components) than keeping it running to consume 7 bars of gas

Something around 0.35 KG. And keep in mind, it is always recommended not to switch off your car on a signal if it's duration is not gonna be more than 4~5 mins, coz it consumes more fuel in starting the car than 4~5 mins idling.

160psi pressure when light is available and after one hour light has gone. most of CNG stations are not using their Generators because they said our expenses are out of control and we can't afford Generator cost in this CNG schedule.

I don't believe they can't cover generator cost. They are running 7 days a week and never free during this schedule. So they must be earning heavy amounts.

0.35kg for 1hr idle, then why dont every one just keep their car started, its almost nothing
if car is started without giving race even then it consumes more fuel? as i dont need to press race at all while starting on petrol

0.35kg for 1 hr idling?? I dont think so. It means that keeping engine idle for 1 hr costs only 23 rupees...??? :o (0.35 x 66= 23 rupee)

also I have heard that if signal is more than 30 secs, better turn your engine off. 4~5 mins is only stay at railway crossings or at huge traffic blocks
I remember once @fazalwahab11375 shared somewhere that idling in some parts of USA or canada is not allowed for more than specific time, dont remember exactly. or that was on NMC . dont remember.
sir plz let us know if you have any information about idling car fuel consumption, or any other expert.

Well I myself used to switch it off as soon as possible. But now I don't do that. During the testing, I was quite surprised to see the pressure gauge staying at almost the same position.

You can waste little gas just for the sake of establishing your vehicle's idle consumption

Guru G, please guide if it's better to keep the engine running for 1 hour or shut it off and restart every 5 mins???
