Well i am suffering from a issue since last month. My left shoulder and arm kind of get locked. Cant seem to move my arm at all because of excessive pain in muscle not bone. Right now there is still pain but it has shifted to my arm from the shoulder. I cant lift anything, i cant move it properly, i hav taken a movax tablet and artiffen tablet but no use. I hav even taken a decloron injection yeterday and day before yesterday to get some relieve from the pain as it was too much to control. Can someone help me out plz. Thanx

The shoulder pain you are talking about can be due to multiple causes, so lets try to deal with them as follows:

Is there any neck pain or feeling like that neck pain is radiating to the shoulder or arm? If yes then this is most probably nerve compression in the cervical area. This is investigated using plain x-ray first then an MRI. Treatment is neck exercises along with pain killers and muscle relaxants and physiotherapy.

If no neck pain then it could be either frozen shoulder or rotator cuff impingement also called rotator cuff tendinitis. So both of these are extremely difficult to distinguish the thing that does differentiate them it is a lidocaine injection in the area will cause relief in rotator cuff tendinitis whereas in frozen shoulder it will do nothing.

But as I can see this is looking more like frozen shoulder but can be cervical nerve compression as well. So for both X-ray can be done and then an MRI. Treatment is pain killers with muscle relaxants and physiotherapy is the main thing.

You can write both frozen shoulder and rotator cuff tendinitis and cervical nerve compression on google and there's a lot of material available.

Best thing would be to go to an orthopedic and then get physiotherapy done. The drugs you are using will not help that much main thing regarding treatment of this condition is physiotherapy. You can try Dr. aamer nabi nur at shifa international and then get physiotherapy done from where the orthopedic doctor tells.

Nothing can be said about priority both diseases should be treated simultaneously.

Lets start with HepC. So because it has been confirmed it is HepC treatment usually consists of interferon + ribavirin + telaprevir or boceprevir (both not available in pakistan). So our consultants usually use interferon with ribavirin because these two are only available, obviously a specialist can tell way better than me. So go to a specialist hepatologist or gastroenterologist. They are expert in treating it. So go to shaukat khanum Dr. Qayyum khan or Dr. Aasim Yusuf. They will also give you good advice on gallstones.

Regarding gallstones is after visiting these consultants lets see what they say. But many treatment options are available from using drugs to liquify these gallstones to surgical removal of gall bladder. Drugs work rarely and slowly so my sincere advice would be to visit a general surgeon and think about removal of gallbladder, go to shaukat khanum Dr. Aamir ali syed or Dr. Shahid khattak or Dr. Faisal hanif.

Personally I do not have any experience with it. Read it when you posted it the first time, but no idea at all about benefits and side effects hence didn't reply. It might or might not work. Choice is yours. Just be sure to research all the side effects.

I was thinking it might help in allergy and asthma like conditions as Saline is also sodium and it helps. For ADHD I too want to see its affects. So will be buying couple of these and will definitely share my finding here.

Do not know about chia in honey and water. If you are giving hondy with kalonji then no point mixing it with chia seeds. Give chia seeds with water separate. I prefer this.

Hijama is beneficial have heard a lot of good things about it. Where I used to work a doctor used to do hijama at his private clinic. If you are in karachi I can tell you about him.

Also camel milk has anti-inflammatory properties so that can be tried as well.

This is called lumbar strain, usually due to picking heavy weights. Because the pain is gone now and not there permanently hence you do not require any medication right now.

What happens is because of improper technique of weight lifting and due to low amount of exercise of back muscles, when you lift a heavy weight there is huge stress on lumbar muscles due to this they go into spasm or lumbar ligaments get damaged due to sudden force, hence either causing lumbar vertebrae to be destabilized or lumbar discs to herniate, therefore this compresses spinal nerves and hence severe pain. But with time as spasm of muscle relieves or ligaments injury subsides, the vertebrae or discs come into place hence causing no pain. But because the lumbar muscles and ligaments are still not strong so you can get pain on and off.

Best advice right now. Exercise and decrease your weight to reduce stress on lumbar spine and muscles. Do lumbar strengthening exercises. Also you can go to a professional physiotherapist for physiotherapy. You can use a lumbar corset to stabilize the spine. Try sleeping on flat board or floor for 1 week. But mainstay of treatment and to prevent it in future is lumbar strengthening exercises and physiotherapy. You can learn exercises via net I am giving you some links you can search yourself as well, but better to go to a physiotherapist and learn these exercises.

I will be discussing with doctor when I visit UAE this month. But I am looking for an alternate solution for this problem. I believe in tib-e-nabvi, hijama is also tib-e-nabvi and is strongly suggested. I would see a Hijama center as well when I go.

This very simple as you have been diagnosed, it is cholelithiasis (stones in gallbladder) with on and off biliary colic (pain related to gallbladder). So there is no test to diagnose what type of stones they are until and unless you do not remove the gallbladder surgically and then send the gallbladder with stones for pathology.

I am amazed that you did not remove it surgically and why are you getting the surgery late it will increase the chances of complications. Surgery is simple and common so good general surgeons are well versed in it. My advice get surgery done asap no if and buts.

These are some of the complications you can get if you do not remove the stones and they get trapped somewhere else cholecystitis, cholangitis, gallstone ileus, pancreatitis and many more even I can name some more dangerous ones but I am not.

I am telling you some good surgeons try anyone:

Shifa international islamabad Dr. arif malik, dr. mussadiq khan, dr. faisal saud dar( I have personally worked with him so can assure you he has great hands).

So in summary get surgery done to avoid these pains you are having or any further complications.
