PW notifications problem on Tapatalk

@s15 Which version of Tapatalk would you recommend for Windows Phone?
Never used TT before...
But PakWheels is running really buggy on Opera Browser and UC lately hence I'm thinking about trying it...
And how good (or bad) is the data consumption?

Pakwheels website works best on Edge. I have to use the desktop version of it, because mobile site does not show notifications and i have push notifications issue on apps, which was being looked at but the issue seems to be very complicated.

For discussion forum apps, Tapatalk, tapatalk classic and mTalk apps are the one i know and they work satisfactorily. They are buggy on windows 10 mobile btw (random crashes).

Do try them and let me know if your pw push notifications work on those apps or not. I will be waiting for your response.

Data consumption on those apps is very limited, so no complaints there.

BTW, I'm STILL running on WP8.1 on my Lumia 430 so Edge is out of the question here! And IE on 8.1 is just too greedy when it comes to data consumption...!

A single Pakwheels thread page sometimes consumes upto 2MBs...! That's quite steep as I've just 500MB Monthly cellular Data Plan...!

There is DataSense in Windows 8.1, configure that for data savings. But unfortunately, it has been removed in windows 10 mobile and no Opera Max VPN either, so you have to use those forum apps.

Yes, I use data sense hence I learnt about IE's ridiculous data consumption!

So, Data Sense is absent in Windows 10 Mobile???

If so, that's really a bummer cause I love data sense... Just set your data limit and days, put its tile on Start menu and it'll keep you informed about data consumption... Simple yet productive...

There is similar system, but it does not compress data.

The notification problem is fixed now, tested both on Android and iOS device. The thread can be closed now.
