Without getting in to any Firqa / Fiqa thing, being a Muslim, I personally believe (in fact we all should) that anything which is not available in Quran and Sahih / Hasan Ahadith (may be available in Zaif, and especially Mawdu Ahadith, or may not be a Hadith at all! and available in any Hadith book) or is contradictory with Quran / Ahadith, basic ideology and Fiqa, must not be followed!
No proof has been given that this Hadith exists. And if someone blindly follows it, it's a next level thing to Bid'dat. And we all know, what's the status of Bid'dat in Islam? (Bid'dat is anything, any practice, being followed by Muslim(s) to get Sawab, however, that practice does not exist in the religion.
Harr Bid'dat Gumrahi hai, aur Gumrahi ka Thikaana Jahannum hai (translation / mafhoom from one of the ahadith. I will also try to find it's source))

Please permanently delete (instead of closing) the thread, as the Hadith mentioned by OP can be misleading / Bid'dat. In both cases, it's an extremely dangerous thing for the Umma.
