so whos going to swap a FWD VQ35 in a sunny next?

did it came with maxima...... well not everyone has such determination to do such swap...... they are literally rare in pakistan .... at least haven't seen anyone......

Continuing the resistor story....
@imranbhatti checking the revolution sensor from gear, which I've replaced just to clear the doubt that it may be faulty, bhatti checking something not telling us...

Okay, for the testing prupose, imran decided to join some small resistors and try to figure out what actual resistance we need....

Okay after some hit and trial, means after summing up the 10 small resistors and trying connecting it up resulted in heat up of those resistors, bhati summed up quite a chunk of them, and they performed wonderfully......

After instructions, we went to hallroad to get the appropriate resistance....

not sure about the VQ35 but I'm eying an MR20DE and paa kabaria is asking 150k for it with CVT transmission, but its not drive by wire, tell me the remedy for the pedal and you'll see another long long thread.... what u say

VQ35 is umm, errr a bit crazy even in the maxima - youse boots the pedal and youse gets pushed into the seat, That engine has the best flowing heads in the V6 engine design. The other issue is that it may tear apart your Sunny under full power.

The only known fault in that engine is smoking due to bad rings, not a big problem. But the engine is :*

btw it would have been better to get a metal case resistor and mount it to the body sheet metal directly with some thermal paste or rivet it onto an aluminium plate.

btw - this resistor you have used is placed for the line pressure? or the shaft rev sensor.

You dont know me well if you think that results are above my expectations. With the amount of money thrown in. the car should have been throwing fire from exhaust, not water.

Pedal issues are sorted already for toyotas. 1UZ etc are swapped easily now. But the way you do things, i am not sure.
