My cousin recently got a 98 corolla with 4AFE swapped in. I checked, and there's no MAF connection (the wires supposed to be coming out of MAF are all cut and taped together). And couldn't find any O2 connected as well.

He told that electrician has issued this statement "The engine is EFI, but your wiring is not that of EFI" :).

It's just another example of juggaroo swap, with daysi wiring all over.

The engine is running fine on CNG (and running on petrol as well, maybe too rich though).

4AFE Comes With MAP...Not MAF....That's Map Sensor WIth Vacuum Pipe Connected ....!

Forget O2 COnnected...I Guess They COnnected The Coolant Sensor And ISCV and Even TPS......

This is how wiring is done when you get a swap done from kabariya and his mechanic. Gari start hoti hai aur chalti hai bas. No denying that. Rest they do not know much nor they can help much. Find someone whoc an wire it for you or do a DIY if you can. This is how good resuls are obtained so far. Talking from experience of quiet a few swaps.

Yup. He tried to connect the radio. And some relay burnt. On inspection, it was revealed that all instruments had been made operational through "Juggar bazi". Whatever new electronic component to be installed, visit another juggaroo electrician.
