Bought a cow for 65k.. Allhamdulillah! This is the first time my dad has bought a cow on his own. Usually, we contribute in parts with one goat. Allhamdulillah, we were able to get one for the first time!

Just returned after buying lambs. The Rawat mandi isnt good because if you buy a lamb for 20K you will have to give 5% commission to the administration and thats compulsory or they dont release your lamb. The lambs are too small but do fulfill the qurbani criteria. I purchased my lambs from Humak road. Plenty of good lambs there rather excellent lambs there. This time I got 2 lambs for 60K bigger than the ones I got for 84K last time. Sorry wont be able to post the pics... but the market is cheap this time and easily lambs are available for 15-20K.

good for you though they removed the good animals from humak IDK why?? i too checked humak without luck and ended up n I-11 next time if you want to buy quality animals i mean the bestest of best visit dingi khoi raja bazar or sarafa bazar,i myself belong to agricultural and village backgrounds and my old man grew up growing animals back in the 60s and he too sometimes get stunned looking at the size and quality yesterday i saw a gulabi breed at raja bazar and that was the largest i ever came across in my whole life he was asking 120k for it but my budget was 20-25k lol

what's wrong with those people at I-11 first they ask for 50-60k for a good (bahawalpuri beetal,amratsiri beetal)and then ask you to quote them and then you qoute them even 25-30k they rudely shun you away,I think its due to rich people they buy without negotiating much and are a menance for others
I quoted 25k for a nice buck even though my budget was 20k but my old man was tired after walking and i was willing to spend all i had to get him back home and there comes a lady buys another animal(from same seller) for 35k and the seller became so arrogant asked me to pay or leave,heck the lady didn't even knew what chooga stands for and was asking me if it was old enough for qurbani lol

There was a large difference between rates of i-11 mandi and bagh-sardaran...sellers in i-11 have lost their mind i guess being islamabad tagged sellers are asking way too much ....people over there have mentality that isb people have trees of money (lol) ... 2 days back a pathan quoted 80k for 2 lambs nd i quoted 50k nd he said " marra tum tou islamabad m rehta hay tme kya masla pesay ka" i was like " haan mere tou darakht (trees) hain na peso k

Thanks for the advice once again. Just returned from the Qasai. Got 32Kg meat from each lamb excluding the liver/heart/lungs and everything else. So from both the lambs I got 65Kg meat.
