thermoswitch is also called thermostate valve?where it is located in the engine ? the engine is carby cultus 3cyl engine.
thermoswitch is not a valve - its a switch with 2 wires in the mehran and its in the lower tank of the radiator.
3 naali wala radiator hai phir kiya zaroorat hai direct karnay ki, keep it automatic its better for your engine.
Even if the temp needle stays at normal and the fan is at full, will it still affect ?
thermoswitch is a looks like relay type thing? where is thermostate valve located in engine ?sir sorry if ur gettin disturbed frm my alot of questions..all i want to seek knowledge...thanks..
the valve is at the place where the top radiator pipe connects to the engine, the switch is a plain screwed on sensor with 2 wires in it, its at the bottom of the radiator.
Fan should be automatic. To keep your car cool, use 2 pipe or 3 pipe radiator, coolant in radiator and high rpm radiator fan in mehran and even in cultus.
my mechanic wanted to do it direct but it dont allow him to do it
Can someone answer my question lol
your question is too vague
thanks alot brother...if u can post a pic of it would be wonderful...
If its a mehran forget anything to be automatic. the simpler the better.
I call it the "Direct Plug and play" !
I meant, what if the fan is direct. When you start the car, the fan blows at full speed hence the car takes a really long time for the TEMP needle to come to normal position. Is that okay if you drive afterwards ?
It would be mighty hard for me to find a Mehran in Houston. The highway Patrol would shoot it off the road in the first place.
^ ahahahaha
that means the Tstat is missing - why not install it and get the engine to warm up quicker.
Running the fan directly is crazy by any sense unless its for A/C purposes - where you actually benefit from it.
I like your thinking - there is one thing automatic in Mehran, when you are going down Mall road buses/taxis and cars automatically block your road.
while they automatically give you way if you take on the road with a MUTT
yes I know tstat is missing. What good is it with AC ? Doesn't the tstat turn up the RPM if the car starts to heat up or something ? So why keep it without Tstat at all times ?
@Xulfiqar... What if fan is automatic and no thermostat??? I mean, I have no thermostat installed in my car. Should I install it or it is okay without it? Thanks..
Sorry @poster for using your thread.
If its automatic then there already is a thermostat installed.
