Had it checked seam sealer was missing and had a few holes which was repaired with rtv silicone but I think there is another leak I wasn't able to identify which is also somewhere behind the dash and all the water lands around the steering column connector/behind the pedals.
The seam sealer for this is applied on the lip where the tray sits, its seen from the outside.
The right side area water intrusion also happens due to the bonnet lock cable grommet.
have repaired the rusted part. but not able to find cavity wax spray.. where can find that
further please advice what wax to use on door seal and fenders .
Problem still not solved. Been over a month now. I've had everything checked, sealed any possible entry points but issue is still not solved. Had some entry points sealed on Saturday gave over 24 hours to dry poured water nothing came in I thought issue is solved, next day the carpet was wet even though it didn't rain neither was the car driven in water. Ac water is dripping outside, radiator has coolant and it wasn't coolant on the floorboard.
Need to put carpet and if necessary the whole dashboard off to source the crack/rust/leak.
When you had it torn apart for repairs, Im assuming you had the dashboard, wiring, padding and wiper system removed.
Did you not pour water to see if your repair is water tight before buttoning it back up?
