They have 4-5 Boats each boat carry 6 persons and secondly if you are in very large number they make round trips, They go and drop and come back.

Each boat take up to 3000 Rs dont know what will be the cost now as i went last year.

There is a route from rawat--> kalar saydan--> Dudial side.. But i heard that its a little unsafe as we have to park our car at back...and than have to walk...After hearing that.. i have to park my car alone in an unknown area.. i skipped that thought and than took mangla resort side as it is safe.

Guys, prices are insane....not value for money. Over and above....just one hour stay at fort...it is like clinging with a mad elephant

I may prefer going for something expensive but will never select a price that is unrealistically wayyyyy wayyyy expensive. There are better options like Derawar fort in the heart of cholistan.

The only exception to this self made principle was my finalizing itinerary for everest base camp from Chinese side but could not manage getting the visa. Everest to everest hae.....

From Dhani Gali Boat route in round 27.5 Km both side is Round 55 Km (One Peter Engine Boat will charge round Rs. 2500/- Appox)
One Peter Engine Boat to Reach at Ramkot Fort is Round 1.5 hrs one side too much slower and capacity of Passenger is Round 5-6 people.

Actually there is no Built Ramp for Motor-Boat at Dhani Gali ,other wise travelling via Dhani Gali toward Mangla is one of scene Trip.

Second Optional is a bit far away amost 40+ Km one site from Palak Near destination 20 Km ahead from Dadyal.
Palak is Place where pooch River fall in Mangle Dam.

Interesting point is that river Jehlum have Green color Water and River Poonch Have blue color Water. Both Rivers Water are merage at the Point Saikh Bluish Water into Greenish Shade . wonderful Picture of there.

1. if i go to margalla cantt from lahore to see ramkot fort then can i continue my journey through roads towards banjosa lake

2. how is road conditions to travel

Such was the condition of the state of the water in the lake when i visited it last week on my trail. This is where a bridge working is being done by the chinese engineers this is only 1/10 th of the whole stretch once that water is gone you would be able to cross this by car or bike people told me in 10-15 days as the level is still going down. There is only a strip of about 30 feet of water remaining in the lake at this time of the year do not know about the crossing point at ramkot fort. Cautions you might have to walk a long distance.

When we visited there in september, we didnt find any land that is connected to that island, its maybe because of high water levels at that time of the year.

As for the route is concerned, we took the dadyal route, the road conditions was not good at that time but that route is amazing, nice views and really adventures places, the boat only costed us 500 rs from the village (couldn't remember the name of the village though)...
