Rate Petrol Stations in RWP/ISB April 2016

Shell F-7. Stay away from Attock it will soon choke catcon many people have complained.

I have hybrid car so I tried many petrol pumps to check best quality petrol. The best petrol pump so far is Shell, panj sarki near PC and 2nd best is Shell commercial market.
The worst petrol pump is PSO in red zone in front of Foreign Office.

I went to shell punj sarki almost always but recently have experienced low quality fuel do to which u switched. But now will try that next time.

try ther Shell at I-8. I've been filling my cars from there for 3 years now and no knocking. Also i top up my fuel tank whenever i go for a refill and the mileage per km is constant

Shell i -8 is the most hated pump
I have heard bad reviews and have filled from there and i did not like it.

Maybe try some other pump u might feel the difference

So guys. Since caltex f-6 is not upto the mark now, which pump is better to get cars filled from? I've tried shell f-6 and it was a horrible experience. Attock H-8 seemed to be good but HI octane isn't available there.

Yes attock h-8 is fine for the regular fuel.

Now i need to find best pump for high octane. Try shell f7

I used to fill up from Attock F11. It's fuel had lot of lead resulting in choking of my catalytic converter after only 40,000 km. Then I shifted to Shell F7. After 50,000 km CATCON shows no signs of choking.

It is Shell Panjsarki for me. I fill-up from there religiously. They have an excellent and courteous staff and the fuel quality is very consistent. Never experienced any knocking or significant mileage drop when filling from there. HOBC mostly remains out of stock at the start or end of month.

PSO, Mall Road is my second goto pump whenever Shell is closed for some reason.

Panjsarki for me too. Their staff is excellent. They treat you well and you dont have to wait in queues. Previously i used to get my tank filled from MH and jinnah park PSO.

Shell Panjsarrki and Shell Liaquat Bagh are both owned and operated by Shell Pakistan so they should be good. Shell F-6 is very good as well. All UN and foreign diplomat vehicles go there for fill ups. The other site with excellent fuel is Shell Rawal Chowk.
I would avoid Shell I-8 because it is not well managed at all. I can guide you guys about any Shell site in ISB/RWP as I know those very well.

Filled high octane from punjsurki shell pump. Never been so satisfied

Attock H-8 is the best one in the town. I travel 8 Km for a fill up from here.

They don't cheat in terms of quality or quantity. And i get 2 kmpl more mileage compared to PSO's in my vicinity

Total on Islamabad Expressway near Gangal has best fuel ever.
Gives at least 12 kmpl on 1.6 vti and car feels very light close to running on high octane.

I always doubted the quality of shell rawal chowk. Will give them a shot on next fill up.

I was a regular customer of caltex f-6 but now no more good. Now I fill up my cars from shell f-7 and getting decent mileage (15-16 kpl from Honda city 1.3 MT and 13 kpl from Civic 9th gen MT).

Attock's fuel returns decent mileage but I've experience knocking issues.

I take a trip every weekend from lhr to rwp and back. So mostly I fill from Hascol Motorway. Quality and Quantity wise they are the best. Plus there rate is also bit lower then what is being charged in RWP.

In RWP Total pump in Jhanda Chichi (where musharaf was attacked) is very good both quality and quantity wise. I happen to know the owner since we share the same mechanic, he is a very honest and humble guy a retired army officer.
