Dear brothers Aoa. I have just learned to ride a motorcycle. I have been looking at all the models available in our market. To my mind the ravi piaggio storm 125 is the most advanced bike available. Also I am 6 feet 3 inches tall and have a large frame so the height, weight and riding position of the bike and the position of the gear pedals and rear brake pedal all suit me. I looked at the suzuki GS 150 as well but it just seemed like a larger engine and body was all that was new. Same old design. No disc brakes, skinny inadequate tyres etc. So my friends I am getting this bike today in Black and i will update all of you as to my experiences. I would like to add that i have found the posts of all the brothers on this forum very valuable in making my decision.

@umer. plz note that ravi storm 125 is not advance in technology. its only advance in style and controls. Engine-wise the most advanced motorcycle is suzuki gs-150 that is OHC and also includes an oil filter and roughly gives you the oil change interval of 3000kms. Most of the folks say that gs-150 is the most comfortable of all. But i think deluxe is the most comforable of all. I prefer performance and comfort over style.
Anyhow, best of luck for your choice.

3-Gs150 (self start stop working after 20000km and cdi unit changed after 30000km, rings changed after 40000km, and little problems in wiring too.

bike shud not be blamed if some1 doesnt know how to handle it

i have ravi piaggio 700 km driven,but i m facing some problem with its self start,the bike dosent start @ moarning with self start.and also depends upon bettry. 2nd problem that i m facing is some sort of missing @ around 5000 rpm in every gear.seat quality is not good one bcs it is prepared by HKF enginers,fuel consumption is 45 km/ltr in lahore city .please guide if any body other is facing same problems

regarding self start use choke in morning , mine starts with a single self in morning with choke ,
regarding missing problem check the connections of ignition coil (two wires ) i also faced it in the begining but it went away after tightining its wire connections

dear meri piaggio to morning me without choke first self p start hoti hai, aap tappets set karwao lo kisi achy mechanic se aur plug gap b set karwalo aur carburetor se neechy choti si pipe lagi hoti hai waha se screw open karke thora sa petrol drain karo coz jab hum bike service karwaty hain to carburetor me pani chala jata hai is lie b gari starting p masla karti hai aur high rpm p missing

ive used gs 150 in the past and i can confidently says that Piaggio is more comfortable than Gs 150, its suspension is so soft that i ve to readjust the rear shocks coz shocks were too soft if two persons were riding
