yes brother, but its owners like to move their butts because they are being fooled by its faulty meters which show 130km/h when actual speed is just 90 :-!

lalay yesterday afternoon I over take a Suzuki GS-500 at Sabzazar, Lahore. My speed was 70. So does that mean that GS-500 is slower than my GS-150?? I respect your concerns, this shows you are a good biker and would like to share what my poor knowledge is :

1 - Dancing Fuel Guage = It Duely Exists in CG HONDA 125 Deluxe and CD 100 (so now what , who is real CHONDA ?) and btw I own a 2009 Storm never had this problem since I bought.

2 - Noisy Chain Cover = Never Seen it after 11' model (even the very first Space Shuttle Crashed and it was made in USA does it mean it had a poor quality ? )

I would suggest if some one don't like a certain Vehicle, why bother visiting its Fan thread and ruin a healthy discussion, getting into bahas will only give infractions from moderators and one will loose dignity too ?

All those guys whom you will meet here have respect for Storm 125 and they will give you seriously tough time even may be some moderator tooo so If I were you I wouldnt do that and loose respect... for flaming this thread ..... I am big fan of Honda 125 Power Plus its my first speedo bike and I respect that ... but that doesnt mean that it is any better in some major areas then the Latest Tech European Standard Italian breed Paiggo Storm 125. ( Intentionally making the name longer to make it differentiate in your mind from CHONDAS)

and you have a GS 150 WOW ... I really like that bike in performance but from looks ahhh growwlllll ... !!!! :)

i agree with you brother. Chondas in our market are of pathetic quality. Else if u remember those chinese bikes that same in 2002-2003 were of really good quality. Now all we get are dancing-fuel-gauge and noisy-chain-cover chondas.

What is the real average of this bike in busy City like Rawalpindi and what is its weight bearing capacity, like CG we put two full bags of Urea on it and a person is also sitting and it is working on this load for years. Will it be suitable for Storm 125?

good question a torture test must be carried out by company... though it wont have any issues .. but still its design is more of a commuter the n all rounder bike like cg.. its not as rugged..as cg can take any torture because of the way cg is designed..

it will take the Load but it has more 'PLASTIC' fabrication on body and styling will tear apart if loaded heavily Just like HONDA CG 125 Deluxe it is also that delicate.

For Loading Yamaha YB 100 is your dream machine, CG 125 powerplus also dont have any modern styling it can be used as Loader as well.

It gives me 45km/l average in busy areas like Data Darbar, Miner-e-Pakistan and Lahore Railway station.
In straight Out I had verified going near 55km/l when it was new.. now I am not sure.

Dear brother thanks for your kind words. If you see my post I never said anything for Ravi directly. Anyways, i would like to inform you that I do not like cg125. It has a very bad riding experience. Apart from speed and acceleration cg125 has got nothing. Silver Knife needs to admit facts. And those are that in speed and acceleration no local bike is more than cg125. Even GS150 is no match for CG's acceleration.
In all other aspects like comfortable ride and road grip I think CG is very bad. Infact I believe that cd70 has somehow more road grip than CG125.

Brother I am not here to ignite any fights. Buts as I have said before, just because I own something doesnt make it the best in the world. I own GS150 and I had to go through a rough first 3 months fixing its various minor issues. And even though it is 'slower' than my cg125, I still love my GS because it is so much more comfortable. I can ride it for hours without getting tired.

Anyways, back to topic of Ravi. I am also interested to get it as few of my good friends have this bike. But I think its current price of 100k is too high. If price comes back to around 80k then I will definitely consider it.

p.s. do u know how quickly the timing chain of GS150 goes bad? it doesnt last very long. In pure ruggedness I believe that cg125 has no competition is local market.

Recently i visited Mcleod Rd Lahore and saw there couple of brand new Ravis..

dude at which dealer u saw couple of BRAND new ravi piaggio?????? coz today i vistied mcleod road asif and furqan autos, just asif autos have 1 bike in red with chrome silencer(not black silencer) and furqan autos was saying that this bike wil not be available for next 3 months....

I have not owned a GS150 bas doston ki chala ker dekhi hai I liked its smooth accelration and soft suspension but I am very much interested I only stay back because of its Classic looks, about maintanice I have no idea..

And yes price must go back for all .... By the way I bout it only for 72 brand new in 09'

Same Feedback from My side except the ISLAM auto he sold 2 bikes in Black matt silencer other then that Bike is ditto.. nothing changed he brings bikes only on demand and has a constant avaiablity of spare parts too..

frankly speaking the still need to do a lot more to get the market this way people will stop using there product... the have a nice product but they are doing the bussiness in a worst way possible
