If u read it again its only comparing x and y axis but our eye can see 3 dimensional images which is z axis. I you would please go through google and search for actual research papers it would increase your knowledge. If u r using yahoo answers as your valid and authentic source than sorry bro you need to learn alot.

But our eye is way more complex just than. Our eyes see and perceive what our brain asks nothing more nothing less. While travelling in train or bus you encounter many things but remember only few... you see many things but remember few, that means we only SEE what we DESIRE to see. And the figure which is mentioned 576 MP is just a consideration and you cannot base facts on considerations. Its just a MATHS funny part consider X and leave Y thing !

About RODS and CONES which they are comparing with sensors.... CONES basically detect colors for which they need bright light again BRIGHT LIGHT or light source that means in DARKNESS out eyes MG lessens!! which again is contradiction to theory which has been put forward.

sir with due respect.. ur statment in no way gives the slightest info regarding the MEGAPIXEL thing.. it doesnt contain anything which may prove wether its greater than 567 MP or less?? we were talking abt MPs.
