They were a destructive force and part of the reason that the angels were saying to ALLAH(when HE made adam a.s) that humans would cause destruction on earth(just like djinns). Before man they lived on earth and all across the universe as well, the pious ones were allowed to enter the higher skies(saat aasmaan stuff). The devil was the most pious of them and was up with the angels on the highest skies. He was also with them when the angels were sent to wipe off the djinns from the earth. But some of them survived in the deepest of caves and the darkest of places and after thousands or maybe hundreds of thousands of years later they repopulated the earth just in time for man to step foot on earth. They are controlled by iblees now, at least the evil ones. They have misguided man since the begining. They put ideas in man's head and made them(rather helped them) do shirk and worship idols and humans or whatever. They would appear in idols and talk to and convince naive people to worship them. Every misguided religion would be due to them. The hindus and the Buddhists won't know that they are worshiping the devil but they are. Many famous idols of hindus are shaped like the heavy duty djinns. Their kali to those icha dharee naag movies, it is all types of djinns. The greek and egyptian mythology suffers from the same affliction. The biggest of djinns are like giants and the most powerful and their depiction can be seen all over greek mythology. All can be traced back to the djinns and their fitna inducing capacity. They whisper into your ears and every human has one till they die. Those sightings that people normally have after their loved ones die, are mostly those look alike leftover shaiyateen. The christians are also misguided by these beings big time. They thing of iblees as a fallen angle while he is a demon/djinn. They think that iblees rules hell while in reality he has not real power and only what we give him. We are mostly suffering from black magic due to jealous relative(more so for car lovers lolz) and we need such belief to help us stop the effects sent on us by these djinns. Those aamils who think they control djinns are morons and they are actually being controlled by those djinns in commiting shirk and kufr. Little do they know. Dajjal will come and he will have the alliance of djinns who will help him perform seeming miracles(bringing parents from the dead and the rest would be technology rather than magic/miracles). We have no idea how bad it is when it comes to shaitan. Ok,one from me.
It happend to my mamu in 2003 or maybe its happend to you also as i didn't read stories from a-z.
My mamu lived in a villiage & after 7-10 kilometer there was a really long and broad plus vehicle-free road.
He had a 125 which is still being used by him.
So it all was started that he was really young & riding lover guy like us :'D
It was 2:00 of night & he was doing stunts on that road (wheeling) & he saw a lady in full white coloured dress waving at him.
He thought to stop & lady said "road k end per mera ghar hai.aap mujhey drop kar dain please" & he agreed.
When she sat, he felt a tons of weight on his 125.
He moved the bike so hardly hard he could barely shift 2nd gear.
He looked at the bike tire & her feet on the foot peg was reverse.
He lost all his strength & was confirmed that she is a bloody witch or jin.He said to her that get off i want to check something.
She stood on road & mamu shifted to 1 gear & smoked her face out.
He didn't looked back & hit the full speed (120) first time in his life.
After that,he never saw anything on that road.

I want to share one story. It happened many years back with my neighbour. At midnight, he was coming from an area behind safari park towards main road going home at walking distance (Story is about the time when go aish was not there). There were alot of bushes but it was a short cut so he used that road. He observe that a cow appeared from some where and started walking with him. He changed his side from left to right side on road and that cow did the same. Mean while the cow started changing color. When he observed that he started running and that cow also followed him by running after him. He ran like anything and took breath after reaching home. Then he caught fever for 2, 3 days. After that nothing happened but he become careful for future.

I had a story of the house in which we are living....we had built this house back in 1999. There were two bed roams on the 2nd floor. I am telling about 2nd floor because all the hunted stories are related to them. My chahu with his family sleeps there and they had no issues. When they shifted to their own house the roams become empty and remain empty for 2 to 3 years from there the problem starting. As everyone knows roams should not be kept empty so some of my family members start sleeping up there....in first few month's nothing happens but after that things start happens slowly like sound form the roof that someone is walking up there,knocking on the wall's thing like that. The main thing that happen and regularly happens is that doors and windows knocks harshly at exact 3am sometimes its like filmy scene everyone experience that but lucky except me or maybe i have but don't remember. Doors continue to knock until some speaks....one of my cousin tries to see through the windows when it was knocking but as soon as removes the curtains silence.....once another cousin saw a girl standing on the roof in front of both rooms looking in opposite direction he thought that she was his sister but when he came down and saw his sister he was like "tuma to abe mane uper dakha hai" she replied "nae ma to necha thi" then he said in a horrifying face "to phir uper kon tha"......
Such incident rarely happens but that knocking daily at exact 3pm. After all this our elders become worried and called a Molvi he said "ither phera hai is poora area ma hai" but still he read QURANI aayat and after that the happenings become less and less and now nothing happen but still me and my cousins are afraid from going in those roam alone specially at night.

Well i am a geek and never scared of anything, go outside/upstairs and on walk in nights (living in village)
