I painted a few khybers in weird shades - Porsche silver, looks like amalgham poured on the car, Ive painted one in British Racing green (brunswick green of Jaguar) too, the Dark green of the khyber was also used on some early Baleno, Some very very limited runs of Khyber came in an extremely bright red - literally yellow toned red (less than 100 cars I think they were made for some special fleet order which was never completed so they sold them at showrooms - just like the stupid pink and puke green mehrans - those cars had different paint shade stickers on the B pillar rather than on plate in engine room - that plate claimed the cars were white)
But the shade wont do much unless you also accentuate the car - you need to paint the window frames and B pillars black (matte is best) along with the rocker/footboard. Half the bumpers only, accentuate the grilles in the bumper (leave them black), accentuate the finish grille itself (it has small marks on where to leave it black). - Paint the radiator support black so the paint doesnt peep out from inside on a finished car etc.
Its doable, if you can ask the painter and get he "jinyin wala shishtamm" out of your mind.
