Anyways, so i went to arafat autos and Muzaffar bhai handed over a couple more switches for me to test. One of the two worked but it started giving continuity signal at 98degree, but kept giving it till i checked (last at 86 degrees).

I think 98 is a little too much for this engine.

Anyways +- 5C is acceptable range.

I recall you guys mentioned thr difference btw on and off is 5 degrees. 15 degrees wiuld mean tenperature needle/guage keeps swinging

One more thing. How about instead of altering the radiator, i taje a piece of metal pipe and get the machinist fix mehran's switch in there? That metal pipe i join right before the inlet pipe of radiator. I saw a switch with 88degrees "on" temperature

Yes, 5 degrees, But needle won't be moving around like huge difference it would be almost be negligible, between this,

Search for khyber one, you will find it. It is not a rare item.

Maybe around 1-3 Degrees.

Checked that switch again. Its bad. Opens at 98 but dossnt close until 70ish.

ravi & bolan does not have electric fans because of engine placement.

temp of water drop in radiator faster due to faster circulation and front air thunder then in open atmosphere. why not test the switch over direct flame and dump it in room temp water pot and note time taken to click off.

Sorry boss. I read the comment again and it said "alto vxr" switch. It is the same 95-90 range. Let mr go and restart my search

Got two kabli switches.

1) opens fan at 96 and closes at 88-89. Genuine cultus switch as per shop keeper

2) opens fan at 94-95 and closes at 90. Genuine Hands switch as per shopkeeper.

Guess I will go with no. 2

But make sure to switch it on and off quite a few times, to check its reliability.

Tested it twice. Will clean the tip and commectors with some sandpaper before placing it in the car Insh

Alhamdolillah. Good news guys.

Auto fan now works and so does the thermostat valve. Opted for that honda one that opens at 95 degrees and closes the fan at about 89-90 degrees.

Tenperature needle stayed at this point. But it went 10% higher when we closed the hood and let 2,3 cycles of auto fan on and off.
