Hi all. On my last visit to khi.i went for the following things:
1) matting of the original.speaker board and the wooden material that is kept on top of the spare wheel. Now the cabin noises are much lesser.
2) got the fuel needles fixed. Went to Mani for it. He started the diagnosis from the meter (found some contacts were old, rubbed then with sand paper). Next he found the wiring was not allowing current to flow. So we changed the wiring as well. Lastly, when meter was fine, we figured out the fuel Guage (float) in the tank was not working properly as it was bloated and didn't come up all the way for needle to work properly even at full tank. So we changed the fliat Guage as well. Guage costed me 1900. Mani worked on the car for a total of almost 5 hours. He charged 4k Labour. Tank install and uninstall guy charged 1200.
