A majority of imported Japanese cars in Pakistan are accidented. Not not but majorly accidented. Their auction sheets are tempered by importers, these accidented cars are imported and taken straight to workshops in Karachi eye they are fixed and sold as low mileage cars with tempered auction sheets with 4.5, 5.0 grades. Accept it or not, it is reality.

I do agree that Accidented cars are imported in Pakistan and are repaired and sold but none of those cars are crashed as badly as this one. Such cars abroad are scraped as they are a threat, even if rebuilt.

90% of the cars that are imported to Pakistan are total loss. They are badly damaged and are repaired in Pakistan. If people think that we are doing wrong then they should see how the japanese cars are being repaired in Pakistan.

Total loss in other countries is judged differently

E.g. a mercedes gle45 amg just 3 years old wjth a locked engine due to oil cooler rupture is a total loss because amg stops the engine build before the production run ends.

Similarly all 1st gen dodge vipers have been declared as total loss today due to the clamshell bonnet being damaged and repaired as the insurance co. will not pay for a 30,000 usd bonnet for a car worth 33000 usd.

The hammering is to assist in cold metal pulling, then the finish parts are despotted and welded in, pretty basic stuff.

What you are doing would be oxy acetylene gas welding which would literally mess up the metal.

Not to rain on your parade, but dont consider a wrong job as ok because the rest of the stupid pk population buys smashed up scrap cars from japan

We have been doing these repairs for many years. We have seen cars that we had repaired 5 to 6 years ago and they are in perfect condition. No rust appearing. No nothing. One of the cars wae involved in a wreck too. It sustained damaged as a non accidented would do. I am saying we have tested eveything and our work is up to mark. Whether you agree with it or not. Our customers are satisfied.

There is no such thing as total loss in Pakistan. Even Honda and Corolla sell damaged cars as brand new. I know a person who received a damaged car which he had bought new. The quator panel was damaged and had been repaired in the factory and sold the car as brand new. Pakistan's auto industry is shit. I am not saying that what we guys are doing is up to the standards. But we are best at what we do and these repairs are long lasting.

You will be shocked to see how these cars are rebuilt in Pakistan. We know all people and know that how they repair these cars. Their repairs are worse then ours.

If anyone is interested to see so called genuine Japanese cars being repaired then you should go to jail road . You will see many cars being dented out and painted etc and new owner doesnot even know the history of the these junks !

What the client wants is what the person delivered.
Whatever whoevers intentions are, best not to judge.
He shared the rebuilt on a public forum, if the fellow wants to sell the owner might come across this thread.

two wrongs does not make A right it is matter of self accountability & conciousness.
it is crime of concious

1st crime: The vehicle smuggler who smuggle the write-off car
2nd crime: Fixing it without any standards & safety test ( air bag sensors disabled being top )
3rd crime: Selling it without telling the actual truth

4th crime: Trying to assert as if there is nothing wrong in above 3

brother first of all the person skill are good he repaired a damaged vehicle. But this repair job is a pushed job and client had forced him to do this job as is.
Now comes toward the proper repair job in this scenario complete side cut panels are available now in body parts shop as a brand new part both of the side outer panel replacement and chassis frame damaged parts replacement is advised to solidify the structure. that rebuild would cost the whole price of the vehicle i had once rebuild ed the CE120 chassis and the rebuild cost was 9 lakh rs thanks to insurance the client was saved from load on his pocket.

Then impact of this kind of rebuild is good for a laymen but if this vehicle is involved in any accident again it would be proved fatal and chances of passenger safety is 10% as compared to normal vehicle.

so keeping in mind the rebuild quality and reinforcing the chassis structure if told to a normal person and he is happy to pay less for a car like this and drives it then its not a fraud at all because seller has told him already and the purchaser is good to pay less than a normal market price car.

then the seller is not responsible

and if the seller has sold the vehicle on full price and not told the purchaser about the whole thing and the purchaser is involved in any accident and that accident is proved to be fatal then it would be the fraud.
